Any free anime roleplays?

So, I am asking this since I want to make sure my character's solid before shelling her (which would take a long time), but I don't know any anime-style friendly roleplay site or something, as I'm living in a cave in that case.

Please suggest me something, so I might be able to join you there.

Maybe a Discord group or a Skype group chat? I'm pretty ignorant about this stuff as well but wanted to flesh out my characters the same way. The furthest I've gotten was filling out some character sheets on roll20 with my partner kind of guiding me through the whole thing (his idea, though it's been very helpful), just to get a better handle on their skills, strengths and hobbies.

 

DoA has this thing on their doll profiles that says whether or not the doll's character is available for offsite roleplay. I think they have some group Skype thing but I'm really not 100% sure of that. I'll do a little research and see what I can find

I'm not aware of any myself honestly. However, if there's interest maybe we could start something? Skype or discord chats might be a good way to go about it. I've got tons of characters that could use that touch of refinement roleplays bring to them. Plus, good chance for me to hone my writing skills a little more.

Second Life if you have a little $ to buy stuff to make a nice avatar. There's nice anime-ish bodies and faces you can get and customize like a dd.

There's a little forum called Natsuki's Black Starkiller Base 6, natsuki.rocks which offers BJD roleplaying and interaction. It's a pretty laid back, fun site, we don't have any continous stories going right now. Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but feel free to take a look.

It's basically working with other people playing as various characters (In this case our OCs) in whatever situations we decide on. It develops characters by putting them in a variety of situations with a variety of people that they otherwise might not interact with.

Perhaps one could start here so I can play along and see how it goes. I've always had an interest in trying roleplay at least once.

 

Or we could have a roleplay meet with our dolls in person...

I think starting up a huge roleplay thing on here could be cool, although I wonder if it would be allowed. Probably in the off topic section if anywhere.
