Chizuru gets a spa treatment

So it finally came time for Chizuru to go to "The Spa" and get herself a makeover. While I did like her old faceup quite a bit, she just didn't seem to fit into the family well as far as her style went.

She's a very beautiful girl and I liked that she had a more mature womanly feel to her with that face up. Here's a few close ups for reference. You'll notice she had her eyes swapped out. These new green ones are Smartdoll eyes and I love them in her.

After showing her to Eblktty, my main DD artist, she said she would take care of things and make Chizuru even more gorgeous than before. Knowing full well she meant business, I left her and Chizuru alone and was shortly presented with this adorable yet glamorous beauty:

Just look at how she's changed! She has such soft features now, like she's almost out of focus in a soft lens camera setup. Her colors are vibrant but still muted enuff to not be too much. And she kept some of her mature style with the addition of the little beauty mark on the right side of her mouth.

Gone are her long dark lashes..... now she has lashes and accents that match her hair.

She does look a touch younger overall but I love her new style. It's a perfect blend of old and new and she goes so well with the rest of her family now.

As always, I have to give a huge thanks to Eblktty for her most excellent work. No matter what I throw at her, she always hits it out of the park and makes my girls beautiful. Thank you so much for making Chizuru what I knew she always could be!

I 'really' love the softer look of your Chizuru. She looks very beautiful with her new make over! And the color of her hair really makes those green eyes of hers pop!

I know this is one small part of what is a totally gorgeous faceup but I'm in love with her little beauty mark. It's so so so cute!!

Congrats on getting the look you love. Overall it is an improvement, but I personally can't stand "beauty marks." I have no problem with others liking them. Why do they bug me, well, when I scrolled up and then looked back at the screen, the 1st thing I did was reach up to dust off that speck on my monitor. If there was one on my girl, I'd always be trying to wipe it off before remembering it was suppose to be there. But I love that others love them as it shows just how wonderfully diverse our dolls and hobby is. But I do love those eyes. Are they metallic like some of the Volks eyes are?

She looks. So BEAUTIFUL. I love the smart green eyes on the DDH 03 head. Chizuru looks like she could be Tangerine's younger sister Even thou I know she is the eldest from both of them.

 

I'm amaze how great Chizuru looks.

It's like your girl got tired of having skyhigh mascara & lipstick budget & went for a more natural look. Yaay lil mole/birthmark on her face too, we really don't get enuff of small 'imperfections' touches on many factory makeups (ahhhh, I don't mean lil marks like those are imperfections, those things are awesome!! Default face-ups seem to make everything too damn flawless and... i'll shut up now)

Thank you! I know what you mean on the beauty mark, I by no means love them to the point of wanting them on ALL of my girls. But since I have so many of them now ( 43 gah ) I do like having small things like this to help them stand apart from each other more easily. Plus, it gives her a nice mature feel to her in my opinion, which is what she is in character and to me.

 

As for her eyes, those are the green Smartdoll eyes you can buy from Danny. I had an extra set of blues and greens and figured I'd try them in her a while ago. Once they were in, I was in love. I plan to buy more of these type eyes when I visit the Mirai store next month, I hope he has lots of cool colors available for me to try out.

I'm SO HAPPY you like her new look! Every time I make a change to a girl I bought from someone I know, I always feel a bit scared that her old owner won't like what I've done. So I'm glad you like her new look. Chizuru says hello to her little sister too! She says stay cute and keep working out so she can keep that lovely curvy figure of hers.

Thanks so much! I agree that her old face up did seem a tad on the heavy side but she also had an older look to her making her more mature like her character. Now that she's gotten refreshed, she still has a mature style but it's much softer and more natural like you said. She definitely looks like one of MY girls now, which was the plan all along. And I totally agree with you on having girls with "imperfections" so they stand out more and have a bit more personality. I like having different looks for my girls but I also like them all to have an overall asthetic where they look similar in certain ways.
