At first I thought it was new dolls for the next dolpa but looks like they're just releasing the outfit sets! http://www.volks.co.jp/dragon3/ In the promo pictures they're just using a DDH-09 head for the character Yaiba. And looks like they'll be adding more details on the other girl Azerin in the near future. Interesting new approach for Volks in just releasing sets and then letting you make a custom character. It was a pain to unlock it in-game but honestly one of the more aesthetically pleasing designs out there ;o; ! finnleo Posted February 18, 2017 The odd simple school uniform set from different series has been done before, Muv-Luv, Lucky star (already Mentioned), To-Heart (already mentioned), Clannad, and Little busters, but those were mainly just tops and skirts without any other bells and whistles. The first set that went to this detail (Wig, shoes, and outfit) was probably the North-High school uniform set for Mikuru, from the haruhi releases, but that was a obvious tie in for the doll that was more or less released around the same time. technically all miku option outfits with wigs fall into this scale more or less... But as far as releases from a semi-obscure title without any previous tie-ins to existing releases this is more or less a first at this level of detail. Could be volks getting cautious over Rin and Len still being available for purchase ... guess they weren't kidding about the amounts of cancellations. Gabriel Posted March 10, 2017 I had been interested in the first and second installments (the ones Sega refused to localize). When the third one hit there were two things going on from my POV. 1) It just didn't look interesting to me. 2) I was more or less discontinuing buying "current gen" games.
