This is exactly what I was thinking. Considering that most people in the US were probably reluctant to enter international due to the pre-pay thing they're doing now, you'd think the international win rate would be much higher. I also won Kirito from Volks USA and wasn't really expecting to. I thought international would be a definite win for a lot of people, but. I guess not.

This may be true, but the win rate for Volks USA is always significantly less than Volks Jp in my experience. If it's an option, I always go for Jp first. The only reason I didn't enter this time is the payment required ahead of time. I suppose it may not be the same for others. That's just what I've found from entering many, many lotteries. My win rate for Volks USA is 2/3,from Volks JP 3/3. I guess that's pretty decent either way, but it's a little more encouraging. From what I've seen I always see many more people winning from the international side.

Screw it just went ahead and BIN'd an Asuna and not looking back...

-raises hand- (although it's for Renee and a phone call as opposed to email) I'd given up but then more people on twitter got notified yesterday (people who apparently also assumed they lost) It looks like the results really do continue until Wednesday for Japan entries. Being stuck in limbo like this isn't much fun though 8')

Mine was an Akihabara store pickup and I think that store in particular is delayed because of the renewal, but it still had a surprisingly long period of time (6 days) planned from the start.

EDIT- THE CALL CAME I GOT HER!!! I'm actually shocked, I for some reason thought that the last few days were just leeway time to try to recontact people who couldn't answer their phones at first! Best of luck, zen! There's still hope!

and there has been ZERO kirito put up on YJA, although we had heard people winning him.

Maybe some people entered for Asuna just for her outfit and they plan to put it on the Asuna they already have? Her sculpt is slightly different, but that may not be worth it for some people. Meanwhile, Kirito has no prior release.

What's weird about wanting the body? He's the first DD sized boy (as opposed to DDS sized boy), it makes sense that people would want his body for boys the same height as DDs (because Len is shorter).

(Len -does- have more detail down there than smartdoll Eiji, actually! It's just a vague outline but its definitely a dong. Not as detailed as what's on their resin sculpts, but seeing as the DD girls only have a vague indentation themselves I expected as much and don't particularly care. But him not having one wouldnt make it a 'girls body' for the same reason why people dont tend to make 'boy characters' using a SS chested DD - the hips and curves (unless intentional). Come on now.)

I myself want Kirito's body but dont want to buy the whole doll just for that, I'll wait until they make a boy whose head I want as well. (since theres yet to be a head that works exactly for the character I want anyway)

 

As for his 'scarcity', it could just be the type of people I follow on twitter but LOTS of them entered for him and were ecstatic about winning, so it never seemed to be that there were less of him made. Maybe just more people who genuinely wanted to keep him entered?? Still, I was surprised there arent as many people who entered solely to scalp, there's already a bunch of people scalping Renee on Y!A. The results are still not 100% over though so maybe more will pop up later.

Not to mention DD boy bodies aren't standard as of yet so no, you can't waltz on up to volks and buy one, and people have been wanting DD boys for years so of course people are going to want the body. But yeah Len has implied dong. Eiji has a bulgy shape but that's it. Why does that matter anyways? It's not like you're gonna make porn of the doll or something. At least... I hope not.

Well, in the case of the body, I did have one DD boy that I want to use the new DD body as I originally set him on a smart doll boy body but the sculpt don't match (that body is perfect for my Lily though...) Therefore I tried him on DDIII SS bust and look exactly what I wanted and thats why Im entering for that body @ @

It is not about his main gender organ, it is about the width of the shoulders, the width of the chest, the flatness of the chest, and the less curvy torsos.

I collect all kinds of dolls, from fabric to plastic, resin to vinyl. I have never wanted a doll based on the realistic-ness of their main gender organ, male or female. I look at the overall body shape, "does it look like a boy/girl?"

I do not like my dolls posed spread eagle in the nude so I could care less what is or is not in between their legs. Actually a prefer guys who's gender organ is not quite as defined because it is less awkward when someone catches you undressing him. O.o
