character themes/signature tunes?

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but I think of it as something to help character development/personality development, which is why I posted here... Please feel free to tell me to move this/get rid of it if it's in the wrong board

 

If any of your dolls were to have a theme song or leitmotif, what would it be? Why? I feel like this can apply to character dolls as well, not just OCs-- for example, Miku and Rin/Len have many different personality traits in the different song series they're parts of (Synchronicity, Story of Evil, Sasakure's Doomsday series, to name a few...).

One of my OCs was actually created because of a song, but for several of them I do form a lot of their personality by finding songs that would fit them. The group of OCs I prioritize for the doll treatment are masquerading as part-time idols anyway so having an "image" song they'd probably sing works out I think.. I listen to a whole lot of idolmaster music and they practically have a song fitting almost any kind of personality/character type. xD

 

The most extreme example is one of the girls I'm working on, Mimosa(Mimsy), who was kinda based on idolmaster's Hibiki.. specifically one of her image songs Pon de Beach... specifically a single line in the song. I think the song itself is pretty fun, especially when performed live(her seiyuu & the backup dancers blasted the audience with water guns during the summer concert lol). But that "two cups of coffee by the poolside" bit near the beginning threw me off. I automatically think of two cups of hot coffee(instead of iced coffee, for some reason), which does not sound refreshing at all when it's already scorching hot. So I spent a short amount of time thinking about what sort of person would actually want that then and out popped an OC. xD By far the most random one I've made, but now she became my main OC's crazy hyper mad engineer best friend so yay? Granted, even though it's likely that Volks will make an official Hibiki DD(S) eventually, I've changed my Mimsy so much that I won't need a Hibiki to bring her to life. ^^""

 

My other idol trainer OCs got their songs after I worked on at least the basics of their character design and personality... and some of them were already pretty developed before then too. Mimsy's just the odd one I guess lmao.
