Is this a new Obitsu 1/3 scale head?

Just saw this posted on the Obitsu Blog

 

 

The ever so helpful Google translate offers this:

"I improved make-up wigs and so on from number 7 (temporary) exhibited at WF in the summer of 2016.

Clothes and eye iris are still supervised, so it will be changed but face is almost decided."

 

It doesn't appear to match any of the current obitsu heads, but I'm rather new here, so I could be wrong. Either way, she's really adorable! Anybody have any news on her?

Yes I believe she is new! At first I thought she was the same as Obitsu's Rosalie doll, but Rosalie is 50-06. This new girl is a 50-07. I find it odd that they have 50-08 heads for general sale but haven't shown 50-07 until now. xD She was shown at Wonfes along with the new obi24 girls.

I believe she may be available for order on the Obitsu online shop sometime in April? like the fullset Obitsu24 girls. I hope they'll sell her head separately though! Hopefully she won't be like Yurisa(50-05) and Rosalie(50-06), who never got sold as blank heads..

Thank you so much for the extra pic! Hmmm.... I know you said they didn't sell them blank, but did they sell the painted 06 heads separately, or only as complete dolls? I'm trying to judge my chances/likelihood of actually bringing one home.

 

And last question--do you know if they will sell them through parabox or other dealers? Because I didn't see the others released there.

Oh whoops I made a tiny typo in that last post--Yurisa is a 50-05 head not 50-06. ^^" I think they've only been sold by Obitsu, not Parabox or other companies that use Obitsu bodies. Obitsu has been selling one-off painted Yurisa heads at Wonfes(and maybe Doll Show too, not sure) for 20,000 yen. So perhaps you might be able to find some of her around on Yahoo Japan Auctions or Mandarake, etc for aftermarket prices. If you really want this 50-07, the safest way to get her is most likely to use a proxy to order her fullset from the Obitsu website once she goes up for sale. I don't see much hype surrounding her so far so maybe it won't be too difficult..

 

Now, IF they get sold separately as blank heads it's likely that Parabox and other sites like HLJ will have them for sale..
