Your mikan is so good! I've been planning on doing DD Mahiru or Miu, but I'm not getting started until I find someone I can commission the clothes to (especially Miu, the straps and boots are *whew*)

 

Thank you so much! That's completely understandable, especially considering all of Miu's accessories and details. She really would be a fun challenge and she's such a intriguing character, I certainly enjoyed her in V3. Mahiru I see being much easier in terms of construction and planning for, and she would make a really cute DD. Her freckles would be a unique feature as well, as not many DDs have them. Either way I wish you luck in your future projects and hope to see some more Danganronpa Dollfies soon!

Thank you so much! The wig was such a pain to style, and in fact could use a bit of re-styling, however I am really happy with how it turned out! I hope that some time in the future I can get a wig that matches her character a bit more, as it's a little dark for my tastes.

Bandage update!

 

I was finally able to find a suitable material for her bandages. It won't clog up her joints, and really looks like cloth in my opinion. I'm very happy with this material! Now all that is left to do is make her outfit, or commission it, and find her a pair of shoes that resemble her in game ones.

 

From there I hope to work on minor details such as getting her a better wig, making a better pair of eyes/ commissioning them, improve her face-up/commission it, and find a way to make her joints match the bandage color (possibly paint them?).

It seems like you're using real bandages/sticking plaster; does the glue damage the doll in any way? I've been thinking about covering one arm of my Reiko with sticking plaster and was wondering if the glue would damage her skin over time...

I am using a type of paper bandage I found in a local 100 yen store. So far there has been no damage to her skin (she's had it on about two months now) and if anything it sometimes comes off, so you have to push it back down with light pressure. I could post a picture to the forum of the material I used if you would like to see it. Thank you by the way for the comment, I've worked really hard on her, and she in my eyes still has a long way to go. I'm just happy that so many wonderful people seem to like the effort I've put into her.

Since your doll had the bandages on for such an extended period of time, I'm positive that it's relatively safe to use on the vinyl skin. Makes me kinda exited to use it on my Reiko
