The ladies' Designer Collection outfits are AMAZING. I want both of them, but probably can't go for them if I luck out on nabbing Kirito. . .fffff.

I know, and after so many years!! I wanted her SO MUCH when she first came out! I really regretted not even trying for her in the lottery. She is adorable. But I don't really buy that size BJD. Now I have a Kazuya SD girl, and she fills the space for the cute girl that I always wanted. Still, I am tempted!!

Whelp, gotta get the Akuno outfits; no idea how I'm going to pay for them though, lol. I am a little shocked that the prices aren't higher for them, but I'm okay with that. Just got to see if the US store will get them and get them cheapest way possible. *plots*

I badly want the Servant of Evil Len outfit. Even though I find a lot of mothy's other arcs more intriguing than Akuno, I love the outfit design. I enjoy Rococo-influenced stuff in general.

This is one of the occasions that I'm thankful that Volks USA gets stuff later than International, because I'm still waiting back on results from job applications...

There's still some of the boy's clothes that will fit him too. . .I'm more miffed that the DD girl SHOES are what will fit him. >.< Right, I totally wanted to strengthen his androgyny by only putting him in cutesy shoes with ribbons and rhinestones. /sarcasm

 

I know that there are probably more gender-neutral shoes in that size, but hunting them down is not going to be fun.

They do that with SD Boy stuff too. Stuff that is for SD16 Boy is often listed as fitting SD16 Girls.

 

I've known a few girls who wear men's clothing items because the equivalent item for women is expensive and/or poorly designed.

 

I guess if you want to dress your DD Boy like a girl you can, and I am betting some people totally will.

I think I'd like to try to get the Tsuki-no-Kimono Set (Red) and the sandals intended to go with it (SB-SD16G-071). The Pink Label stuff looks nice, but it's not setting me on fire right now. Maybe when these latter sets hit VolksUSA.

 

Also, the more I look at the 7th Dragoon sets, the less I want them. So, I'll probably be passing on the Mage set as well as skipping on the Samurai set even when it hits Volks USA.

Sigh, not all of Volks News 72 stuff has even hit USA yet. But there were thankfully not too much I can remember from 73 that I want. I am glad at the bra/panty sets for SS busts as of late for Miku, but I really wish they'd also release some for MDDs. Yumi would love to have some that matched her older sisters.

I hope someone here gets the pink label stuff cos I'd love to see those on some DDs but can't really afford anything other than the servant of evil set.

I also just noticed how pretty Rin's shoes are in the daughter of evil set....and yet they are covered by her dress. I kinda wish they sold the shoes on their own cos I like them but I'm not that interested in the outfit.

After thinking for a long, LONG time, I have come to the conclusion that I only really want the wigs from the Akuno outfits, but I can't justify spending that kind of money upfront and the turn around and try to sell the outfits. So if someone wants to sell the wig(s) please let me know.

 

I wish they would have gone with the original versions by Ichika (Rin/Len); they are simpler, but I feel the color contrast is more suited to the origin story. I guess the almost complete lack of black on the Volks really gets to me.

I didn't have any luck getting the Tsuki-no-Kimono Set (Red). From watching a few of these in the past, I had come to the conclusion to go for shoes first and then outfit sets. Of course, this time around I should have gone for the outfit set first as the shoes were still in stock an hour later, but the outfit set sold out within the first few seconds.

 

Oh well. I guess I'll watch the next few days to see if it really "Will Be Restocked." If not, there's always the VolksUSA lottery.

I prefer that version of Rin's, but I prefer the version of Len's that they went with. But I agree the lack of black is surprising because yellow/black is so strongly associated with that song. I always assumed that Volks would prioritise the way outfits look in the sega games to other interpretations and that they'd have gone with the Project Mirai versions.

But oh well, less money I gotta spend. I'm just happy to have an outfit perfectly tailored for Len because it's been hard to find boys stuff exactly his size, it's always been just a little baggy.
