PP in RawTherapee 4.0

I wanted to try out RawTherapee 4.0 and I needed some photos to edit. Kaori suggested to have some more pictures taken of her wearing her pants. Here are some photos edited in RawTherapee. I've still haven't got use to it.

Whoa! Where did Kaori get her pantsu from? They are so awesome! And was she taking her pants off or putting them back on?

 

Alicia is adorable in the pink shirt! Nice wig for her too. And I don't think Alna fits into the blue shirt too well... not that I'm complaining.

The panties was one of my 1st clothes purchases. I got it at Dollmore, in Female Model size. Thinking that was the right size for the DDdy body. But it was too big, so i had to modify it. I think the SD version of it should be the correct size. http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=7374

Thank you for the link! I'll be sure to save this for a future purchase for my girls. I'll have to grab 3 or 4 of those for my DDdy girls. And at $5.00 each it's a good deal. Shipping will prolly suck tho unless I hop on a group order.

I have three peices of sexy Pantsu. I'm just not sure how to take the photos.

 

I look to XOHimitsuOX for inspiration and know that I will fail as my skills with photography as I don't think they will have any character as I have don't think the poses i try look natural.

 

Maybe XOHimitsuOX, Scripple & Baldylox can give me some one on one tips.

Anytime you have any questions, feel free to email me or PM me here, I'll do what I can to help you out. I still don't think I can compare to Himitsu for pure photo skill but I know I've gotten better over time. And that's what it's going to take from you to get what you want... time.

 

It's all about practice and taking TONS of pics with your camera and learning what it can do. I can't tell you how many random pics I take that no one ever sees because of the learning process. I seriously have a folder of pics on my computer that is the same picture done 40 times, all with different lighting and different settings on my camera. It took me hours to do and when I look at them, I can see what settings give me what types of looks. It wasn't fun in the least but it was needed so that I could understand what my camera can do in certain conditions.

 

And I *still* don't think I am all that great with my photos. I still have a long way to go but I keep trying because I know as I practice, my pics *will* get better. And don't worry about taking 50 pics and only getting one that you like. I always take twice as many pics as what you see in a finished post of mine. I just weed out the ones I dont like and keep the ones that are decent. I have easily deleted 30-40 pics just to keep 5-10 out of a group. But as long as I get at least a few good pics out of a bunch I'm happy. heck even getting one good pic makes me happy. That's what photography is all about... getting that one pic that just screams perfection. It takes time to get it but when you do, it's the best feeling ever.

 

And since you mention positioning/posing, take this small tip from me because I found it really helpful. Go grab a womens fashion magazine or any other magazine that has women posing in it like maybe Maxim or GQ or Esquire. Look thru the pics of the ads with real women posing in them and take your DD poses from those. Seeing real females posing gracefully will help you out immensely. It helps with flow and getting your girls to look more realistic.

I'm probably more useful for posing advice than photo advice though. I'm not a skilled photographer and I don't have the patience or energy Billy does to do the 50 photos to get one good photo thing, so for stories it's typically done in one shot, maybe two at different exposures. For straight photos, which I don't do often I might take a few extra of the same pose from different angles, but a lot of time it's just one shot there too. But I've certainly thrown out my share of photos in these cases because the pose and angle I chose just looks awful on the screen after being downloaded from the camera.

 

Billy had some good advice to look at magazine photos for posing ideas. I've not gone that route, I just consider human body mechanics and try to pose them in ways that make sense for how a person could pose. Posing is important for DDs if you want them to convey emotions as they can't change their facial expressions so body language is a large part of it. Different angles for the face can also help, even though the face itself doesn't change.

 

And finally, if you really want the advice I personally rely on the most. Use plot and dialogue to distract people from bad photography.

I wasn't thinking of any theme, I just wanted to take some quick pics with some natural lighting. I should of use a reflector to light up her face. But was too lazy to get it.

These shirts are nice. I've always wanted to get some shirts. I was thinking of getting the shirts from Volks but was put off with the shipping for a couple of light weight items. They're from Azone, 60cm Costume line, but was unsure if will fit the DDdy body. However since i've got Alicia (M Bust), any items that i get that are too tight for the DDdy body will go to her Anyway, the shirts a nice fit for the DDdy body

I'm still learning, I just experiment. I get ideas from anime to anything. I just substitute object A with Dollfie in my head then just try it out. Sometimes opening and ending scenes of anime can spark up ideas, like action or sexy poses. If something catches your eye, try and imitate it.

 

Other things that i think about is, location, setting, lighting, focal length and aperture. Plus thinking what gear to use. All this gets time consuming and heavy. So i've been lazy and just take some pics on the roof. I'm just using a 35mm lens f2.4, however i do have kit zoom lens, but seldom use them. I went for the 35mm as won't be too far or close when i take photo's. Plus if they take a nose dive, i'll be in range to catch them.

I watched the vid and I found it quite interesting. I may download it and give it a try.

 

 

EDITING: I downloaded it, but it doesn't seem to get along with my Lion.

I start to get the feeling that I better learn how to use my Paint Shop Pro properly...
