LordNoir Posted December 7, 2011 What SQ Labs sculpts would you recommend for Suzaku and Lelouch? Hmm, honestly I think Haruka would be a good fit for Lelouch, and probably Mey Rin for Suzaku. The Haruka head has that upwards towards the outer edge of the eye common with more sauve and agressive male characters as well as stronger female characters, and the Mey Rin head has wide eyes but fairly androgynous features. I admit, I don't watch a ton of CG, but from what I've seen of it, I think those sculpts would fit them well, so long as the face-ups are done in a masculine fashion. I've decided to aim for at most, 4 princes, so I decided to go with a theme of seasons for their names. Our first arrival is Haruki, though I have a feeling the others won't be too far behind. ^^ I promise to post pictures once he arrives. misskale Posted May 1, 2012 You're using just the regular obitsu 60cm chest right? Did you look at http://parabox.jp/obitsu/slimmuttyo/koukan.html ? It's for the 55cm, but it's useable for the 60cm. LordNoir Posted May 2, 2012 Actually, I'm using the 55cm chest, as that's the male chest piece used in the 60cm obitsu males as well. I also just found out one of my sneaky friends had gotten me a DDIII body that is on the way without telling me meaning for it to be a surprise. So I will be able to post photos of how the obitsu 55cm male bust looks on a DDIII when it comes in, hopefully soon! UPDATE: heh.. heh.. that awkward moment where you thought you ordered a 55cm bust.. but you really ordered a 60cm bust? Yeah.. I'm having that right now. Thankfully, I put in an order for both 55cm busts ( the default and the "macho") to hopefully bring them in for testing ASAP and see how they look with the DDII body. I have no doubts they'll be in long before my friend receives the DDIII body, so all is well with the world. LordNoir Posted May 7, 2012 Ok! So some news! My 55cm macho bust came in today! Here's the quick rundown of it on the DDII body.... - a little too wide, leaves a gap in the torso - Made of soft vinyl rather than hard vinyl - Does not require modding the arm holes to fit the arm pegs in, but getting the arms in can be a little tricky. - This chest piece does NOT match DD Normal at all - it doesn't even match Obitsu white! So what does it match? DD WHITE!!!! Yep, the Obitsu white macho bust matches DD White with what I'd call a 97% match. If you don't mind the gap in the torso area, it's perfect for a DD white male.
