Shizusan Posted April 18, 2017 Hello again everyone, So I've decided to add a new segment to my YouTube Channel called: "Lets Travel with..." The "..." is because that part will change depending on which of my lovely dolls I will be bringing with me. This new segment will just be a "Vlog" of whenever I go out with my girl(s) to either meet up with other doll collectors, photoshoots or conventions. Suffice to say, filming outdoors is rough. Its already an adjustment when talking to the camera in my office for the world to see but its another thing doing it in public. I'm not shy to walk around with my dolls, I've been doing that for a while, but walking with them and talking to a gigantic video camera is really weird to get used to. I've met and spoken to a few really nice people at random while filming this as well as those that give me really confused looks lol. Anways I hope you all enjoy this and please as always I could really use some feedback. Please like and subscribe as well (if you haven't already )

MomoruSora Posted August 27, 2017 Heyo! I really enjoyed the videos, well edited! (haven't watched all the parts to ep 3 yet ^^;) Pretty refreshing! I do have a question though is the focus of the segment about your doll and taking them out or already planned going out but just having taken your doll with you? (not sure if that makes sense haha) I've thought of trying to make something similar but it being more about trying to get over the fear of taking your doll out with you in public. (mostly for males though)I do agree just talking to a camera feels weird and i will say the first ep did seem a little rough like you said in the description but it definitely seemed more natural in the other ones Something i dont like about taking my girls out is all the gear i would bring if my purpose for going out was to specifically to take pics of them haha I'll be watching more of your vids and subscribing, keep up the good work! : D PS. have you met anyone while out that already knew about smart dolls or dollfie dreams? Shizusan Posted September 13, 2017 Sorry for taking so long to reply I've been busy. So to answer your questions. I do have a question though is the focus of the segment about your doll and taking them out or already planned going out but just having taken your doll with you? Basically, I plan to go to certain places or events with a doll, but the moment I arrive I wing it! lol. probably not the best way to plan it but I feel it becomes more natural. Then when I get home I piece it together and cut out the stuff that either came out too blurry or didn't make any sense. I've thought of trying to make something similar but it being more about trying to get over the fear of taking your doll out with you in public. (mostly for males though)I do agree just talking to a camera feels weird and i will say the first ep did seem a little rough like you said in the description but it definitely seemed more natural in the other ones Ok so this one can be a real long answer but basically, walking around in public with a 2 foot doll people will stare at you, its just not the norm, anywhere. Then add on the fact that your a male, people tend to notice more, I mean, personally it just seems to me that its more socially acceptable for girls to have dolls more than boys, but hey I could be totally wrong on that. However, Adults whether your a guy or girl will always get stared at lol. Now, add on the fact your also carrying around a camera, people will really stare. Vloging, depending on the person, can be done with many types of cameras. You can use your iPhone, point & shoot or even a big DSLR. Me I use a BIG DSLR, a Canon 70D with a 10-18mm lense mounted on a gorilla pod. If you want Lets travel Anime Next episode OO you'll see it in the mirror. Now picture me walking around town with that in my face talking to it and holding a 2 foot tall doll. People stare, point, laugh etc etc. You just have to have a thick skin and just keep going. However, its not all bad. I've met a lot of really cool people that are either already in the hobby or who aren't and are now interested. So take it as you want lol. Sorry I'm writing wayyyyy too much here. Something i dont like about taking my girls out is all the gear i would bring if my purpose for going out was to specifically to take pics of them haha Yes, *sigh* lugging around the gear and dolls is very heavy and exhausting, but even so I have a lot of fun doing it. I'll be watching more of your vids and subscribing, keep up the good work! : D Thanks! I will! PS. have you met anyone while out that already knew about smart dolls or dollfie dreams? Yes, and meeting them that way is a great conversation starter. Some people have even told me after having met me that before hand they were scared to approach me at first because I looked busy but were glad they stopped me. So if you see me running around feel free to stop me, I'm always happy to talk to and meet new people.
GreenDragon Posted November 10, 2017 I admire you so much! I wish that I could develop such a thick skin because I would love to feel free enough from criticism to take my dolls with me for photo shoots. I have taken my tiny BJD's out and snuck in pictures when there was no one else around. But the bigger dolls, nope, to afraid of being laughed at. I would die
