All of these people taking pictures of 2B or 9S are very mean. We need more pictures of Pod 042 and Pod 153. I demand them.

I also got mine for 9S. That was...a really long week. The next week will be even longer (and more nerve-wracking). The 2Bs going to other Australians will arrive first, so I'm waiting to hear what the customs situation ends up being for you guys... prayer circle time.

My 2b just arrived today I'm going to open her tonight.. hopefully can take some pictures 

I made some wig tests for those who want to see how she looks in different colours/styles. 

I am just so in love with her, I can't wait to see what everyone else does with her.

Just saw a massive hit to my bank account for $1230.58 plus an additional $36.92 for an international transaction fee. Almost crapped myself thinking Volks charged me twice. I left this morning to do some Christmas shopping thinking I had a certain amount in my account and it turns out I had way less. Good I guess that I had way more than Volks required or there would have been issues.

So the transaction for 2B has returned along with the international transaction fee on my card which wasn't there before as far as I remember. May it'll stick around this time.

Oh well back to saving my pennies and dimes (my 5 and 10 cents pieces here).

 

Beani, everything looks weird on her at first except her wig and the other straight silver ones. I also like this one;

@Aliens_Of_Gold Interesting to see someone choose Rin’s default as a fav. I feel it’s a little wide for her face personally.

I think it gives her a bit of a Gothic look.

This is why I always seriously over budget on international orders, especially Volks. I'm not sure where you are located, but even with me being in the USA I can't figure out what the heck PayPal is going to tack on in fees where currency conversion is involved. I do almost monthly preorders from AmiAmi and from experience I just tack on 18% to make sure everything will be covered. It really ticks me off because I can't find where they clearly state their fees. I'm starting to doubt that they even do, or if they do, they format it in a way that is still completely confusing.

Because of that and being used to doing preorders from Volks International for years I just got used to over budgeting to make sure that I could cover whatever difference there would be with the fluctuation between the Yen & USD and whatever PayPal decides to yank out later. So for 9S I've just saved the full amount for his sticker price plus the 18% markup and ignored my $200 down payment even though I ordered him through Volks USA.

So I understand your frustration about the price surprise. I'm glad everything worked out for you.

Here she is!!!. I really like her face☺️. I think Volks choice of DDdy body is perfect. I thought her head would be too big, but No, it looks great on DDdy body. Her wig is look a bit different from the promote pictures, a bit longer. My 9S is arriving tomorrow. Cant wait to have them Displayed together..

Really the bigger problem is just my brain used to having to way over budget and my frustration with PayPal being as clear as mud. I don't see having all that extra saved as a bad thing because then I have that available for things like new wigs or clothes (if I can find the right ones) and can just splurge the extra after the DD has been paid for.

I'm personally still glad that I have to wait longer to get 9S because having Ollie home at this point in time would just be too much. I feel like I haven't even recovered from Thanksgiving and now Christmas is in my face. I just wouldn't have the energy to enjoy him being home, it would just turn into me dealing with just getting him out of a box before my body crashed. That's pretty much what happened when my two Idolm@ster girls and Anastasia arrived. I was super excited when they showed up but could hardly speak coherently by the time I had opened them all and ended up causing myself to have a bad and painful physical crash. It was before I realized what was going on and that I needed to be careful of physical exertion, but I don't want to repeat that when Ollie gets here. I already know that it is going to be really emotional as it is when he gets here. I'm just glad I don't have to sort out how to deal with holiday stress/energy reserves at the same time.

It makes me happy seeing how delighted everyone is. 2B is really beautiful but I'll be elated seeing more pics of 9S.

Took me an hour to get that outfit on her. Most of my troubles were with those hooks, black hooks on black material and my crappy eyes. Apart from that she looks great, but I think we can all agree that Pod is the real star.

Need to fix her wig up with some styling gel or paste or spray or whatever it is you use because at the moment it looks a little ratty.

@toppz1008 Beautiful photo of both 2B and Pod! It’s so weird all these 2Bs must be without their Nines. Seems like an eternity waiting for owner pics of him here.

Yes, same here.. I dressed her up around 10pm, a bit dark here, I couldn't see the black thingies. There are so many time I think omg, there is no way that the outfit would fit her body, but It did. It took my an hour to do it.

Heh 😛 I'm so gonna take her swords and use them for Alsty but I'm so glad I took her order. I will scavenge 2B's body for Alsty too.

Oopsie. The skirt has been on backwards all day.

He had just arrived in NY yesterday and I suddenly got a knock at the door today. 9s has finally arrived! I cant see him till next week though since he's a Christmas gift. 😢

Edit: hubs was nice enough to let me have pod out after checking his box. 💞
