Ajahli Posted May 10, 2017 (edited) Hi everybody!! So I was looking around on Jauce.com and I stumbled across my grail doll, the 48cm Obitsu Yurisa. However, I used a translator to translate the description and it seems like the last part says they won't accept bids from new ID users? I've never used Jauce or a proxy or Yahoo Japan before so I guess that rules me out? Here's the link! http://www.jauce.com/auction/k252537532#international_delivery I should probably walk away but she's been sitting there for a few days and I'm getting antsy LOL Any other advice about using proxies or this website in particular or what to do in this particular situation would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! Edited May 11, 2017 by Guest
SakuraRose Posted May 10, 2017 You're not ruled out because it's jauce's account, not yours. They're kind of expensive so I only used their service once. I used to frequently use FromJapan but they jacked up their prices. I've lost all my recent auctions so I can't really review their current pricing system. A quick google search should reveal a viable service + updated reviews though. Hope this helps.

I've never used Jauce or a proxy or Yahoo Japan before so I guess that rules me out? You're good. Bid away. You may be "new" to Jauce but Jauce isn't new to YJA. Since your bid is actually placed by Jauce their user ID will appear as a bidder with thousands of transactions regardless of how many times you've used them. Noxxbunny Posted May 11, 2017 You might want to take a look at ZenMarket if she's all you're gonna buy. They don't have about half the fees jauce seems to. They do seem really expensive, even compared to FromJapan. And like everyone else has said, they're not new to Yahoo Auctions, so you're good. That 400 yen + 8% of the item price is gonna sting a little. ZenMarket only charges 300 yen commission and no percentage of the item price, so it's probably worth taking a look at them or even FromJapan. missadventure364 Posted May 11, 2017 I second Zenmarket. You have to add money to your account up front, but if you don't win the auction you can transfer the full amount back to your Paypal account within a few days. Zenmarket has been nothing but great to me - their fees are very reasonable and they are super professional. They pack everything well and repack if needed at no extra cost, plus insurance and tracking is always free. The communication from website staff is also excellent. I can't recommend Zenmarket enough!
Ajahli Posted May 12, 2017 thank you everybody! It says the page is unavailable (and says Auction not found, even though it still had 13 hours on it??) so I guess someone grabbed her before I could. Sigh. I'll definitely keep Zenmarket around though. I really appreciate the feedback! I'll just go cry in a corner and hopefully I'll see her again :')

Here's the original auction link at yahoo Japan: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k252537532 I recommend FromJapan as a proxy since that's what I've been using the most and the new system isn't that hard to figure out, but I JUST tried ZenMarket the other day to buyout some plushies on yahoo Japan. Their site is super easy to figure out(almost too easy... lol I'm used to all of FJ's little fees and processes). They also give you ¥300 yen when you register which covers their service charge for your first order. I hope you get her eventually! Yurisa looks super cute! I was interested in her head too but I now want an Akira head now for that character.

You're right! Zenmarket was pretty easy to figure out, at least so far! If I have a good experience I might use them again :3 Also I thought MAYBE you were the other person who was looking for Yurisa, but I'm glad you found a head that will better suit your character. That's always really satisfying lol. If I win her, I'll post plenty of pictures ^^ Thank you everyone for your help! I just placed my first bid so *crosses fingers* here's hoping she'll be mine soon! elianti Posted May 19, 2017 Indeed, I hope you won that auction! It looked like there was only one bidder, but that there were two bids.I hope that was just you putting in a higher max bid!
Ajahli Posted May 19, 2017 Yes!! That was totally me! Sorry I forgot to update before, but I won her and I'm so excited!! I was so scared someone would jump in at the last minute and try to grab her LOL so I made another bid but I got the notification e-mail the next morning. I almost cried I was so happy. I think she is supposed to reach the Zen Market warehouse on the 20th. I'm super excited to bring her home!
