sinclair Posted May 15, 2017 A while back I had asked about how others celebrate their dolls' date, was it on their birthday, the day you ordered them, the day you got them, and so on. After that discussion, I went with the day they came into my hands, calling it their adoption day. Well, today is the most important one, it's the 1st anniversary of Miku coming into my home who also happened to be my 1st. I have now been a DD parent for a year! Unbelievable that it's been that long already. So many things have happened. I now have 4 girls, been through stains, replacing parts, damages, and more. Crazy. Whelp, since they got all dressed up for a meet we went to yesterday, they decided to celebrate. They kept it low key. What does a girl do when she's dressed to the nines, they dance. Surprising is that Saber was the only one that really knew how to. So she started teaching Yaya at Yaya's request (Since she's the second oldest, she should go first, she said.). Next was Miku's turn to learn from Saber She did a really good job at watching when Yaya was dancing that she picked it up fast. Yaya felt like she was getting shown up. Saber was so happy that Miku picked it up well so she could have a nice dance without getting her feet stepped on. Of course Yaya had to do something about that and cut in. She had to claim the lead as it's her right as the older sister. Miku graciously went along with it. Miku's good at keeping the peace. Yumi had been watching patiently so Saber brought her to the dance floor for some fun. Yaya really isn't that good a dancer. Even though she though she was leading, Miku carefully guided her along so that Yaya actually looked graceful and seemed to be enjoying the dance. After a while it was getting late so we called it a night. But before the lights went out, we got a nice family photo. Happy Adoption Day Miku, and here's to another great year with these wonderful little girls!

SlyViolin Posted May 23, 2017 I do adore how Miku and Saber are mature and elegant but Yaya seems to be trying (maybe a little bit to) hard to be like her sisters. The awkward phase between being a teenage girl and an adult.

EverTravler Posted October 20, 2017 Beautiful dresses and gowns. They fit so well. Both physically and just so right for their characters. And with that, congratulations on y'all's anniversary! Oh, and great close ups and use of depth of field for effect given in each shot. It really adds to the focus of each girl in the story. Did I mention Miku's gown is stunning? It just fits so well for a shoulderless/strapless gown. And her bow is such a nice touch!

I was iffy on it myself until I saw it in person at a doll meet, then I knew I had to get it. It is a very gorgeous dress. I loved dressing them up as girls just seem to shine when dressed to the nines.

TheWhiteRabbit Posted July 3, 2018 Saber dancing with Yumi has to be the cutest thing in this whole story. BeyondTime Posted March 6, 2019 That was really cute, getting them properly posed must have been something. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be. “Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction
sinclair Posted March 6, 2019 People still commenting on a nearly 2 year old post. Thank you! I guess now that I have twice as many girls I need to prep for Miku's upcoming 3rd anniversary. I wonder what kind of party it'll be. How time flies.

I wonder what kind of party it'll be. How time flies. Yeah I happened upon this while hunting for the Miku and the Surprise photo story. I love rereading that one. Those dance poses were just perfect. Volks needs to make a ladies tux for DD/DDS and some DD sized ball gowns. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? cfx Posted March 8, 2019 Volks needs to make a ladies tux for DD/DDS... Yes, so I can recreate my favorite Makoto scene from the iDOLM@STER anime.

I know tuxes would be very popular, but for me my girls will always rock the ball gowns. But Saber in a tux... Edited March 19, 2019 by sinclair
