Easter doll meet, yes I know it's LATE. :)

So yeah, this is late but hey, better late than never right?

 

Anyways, we had this meet at Hampton Park in downtown Charleston the day before Easter. We thought the park would be pretty vacant like it normally is but we didn't know there was a HUGE Easter egg hunt and block party going on that same day.

 

We managed to get away from all the noise and crowds and found a nice spot to set everyone up.

Everything was going great with Sumi until.... she decided she wanted to go swimming. A gust of wind blew her off balance and before anyone could catch her, she fell into the pond. Luckily since she's vinyl, she floated right on top. I feared her wig would sink but it also floated right on top of the pond. After fishing her out, she had to dry out a bit....

Since Sumi was right about it being hot out, we headed for some shade under the oaks for more pics. Like most vinyl girls, Chitose is a natural born climber.

Someone had rented out the place we were hanging out at so we had to pack up and find another spot for pics. Becca snuck some shots in during this time while I was busy packing up the girls and our stuff, here's one of those.

The other big gazebo area was prepped for a wedding ceremony but no one was around so we swarmed it quickly for some quick shots of our girls before anyone could tell us to leave. I hadn't taken any pics with Louise yet so she got to check things out here.

Quality shots as always Zero no Tsukaima is my all time favorite anime; Louise is the best tsundere in my book would like to see more of her! Oh no she fell in the water? is her face okay?

Thank you very much! I also love the show Louise is from, it was a fun one to watch. Sumi did fall in but her faceup is fine. She just got wet and had to be taken apart to make sure all her insides were dry.

Thanks! That top and bottom are from Volks but there's a small bikini style top that *should* go nder the shirt she has on here. I just forgot to put it on her. And yes, after taking Sumi apart to make sure she was dry inside, she turned out just fine.... no damage at all.

We did indeed, thank you! That little rascal Sumi.... she did give me some great photos but she also about gave me a heart attack! Once she got home, all her clothes and wig were pretty much dry but we took her apart just to make sure she didn't have any water hiding inside her body. It didn't take long to towel dry and use a hair dryer on her.
