10 Year Resin BJD Veteran Trying Vinyl

Hello! My name is Krista I have been a long time collector of resin ball jointed dolls but wanted to branch out a bit. After really loving pureneemos I decided that "hey maybe other vinyl would be awesome too!". I wanted to branch out in my customizations of my dolls because I am an avid doll modder! All types of plastic can be cute!

 

I'm really trying to snag a "my peaceful day" noix from the new Azone line (she's so cute!!!) and I'm also looking at dollfie dreams.

 

It would be exciting to have something much more lightweight than my resin dolls even though of course I love them!

 

I've been researching a ton and of course being in the resin hobby there is some overlap so I'm excited to learn more

Noix is really cute as well as Rino being quite beautiful herself!

 

I am also a BJD collector of several years and I collect azone pure neemos, I have a black raven amane and a kikipop as well.

 

However, Out of all of my dolls I seem to bond best these days with my two DDs.

 

What dollfie dreams were you interested in? There's so many nice models! There's also a few guys that came out in the past year or so. I happen to have one, A Len Kagamine from volcaloid. They are really cute. If you ever need any help feel free to message me!

Since you have experience with Resin BJDs, what advice would you give to a beginner that has procured his first resin Volks Super Dollfie? From what I hear they are resistant to stains but will yellow if left in the sun... Anything else you'd recommend for basic care?

I have a volks bjd that's WS. Yes on the sun thing, they will yellow. They are also quite a lot more fragile so be super careful with touching the faceup and such :]
