Sometimes, I take pictures of my dolls without really giving them much of a story. This thread is to show all those pictures off!

 

Today my boyfriend got a big box of stuff from Mandarake's Urban Mines auctions, and one of his orders had an Ichimatsu plushy. Then a plushy party happened.

So after checking out buncho's post with the Our Generation accessories, I stopped into Target to check some out for myself, because they looked cute! And then I saw THE MOPED.

And I was instantly smitten.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Uh, Ellspeth, you're supposed to wear a helmet on that ... and shoes.

(FYI it does come with a helmet, but it's kinda big so I'm relegating that to my AG dolls for now. ;p)

Ellspeth: "All this painting stuff looks totally suspicious! She'd never suddenly impulse buy a ton of paints and stuff specifically made for dolls without a reason to!"

Nozomi: "Maybe you're just overthinking it, Ell-chan? She has a whole case full of craft paint and glitter, too, and a canvas she hasn't used yet. What if she's just adding to her collection?"

Merope: "I dunno, she did give me a really nice new manicure with that silver paint she bought..."

 

E: "Oh WHAT THE HECK. I thought that Merope chick was gonna be the last one!!"

N: "Oh my! So I guess this means the family is growing even more now, huh."

M: "... Is that what they really look like compared to me? That's so weird."

 

So yeah. After I ended up having to cancel on the Anastasia split due to financial issues, Redwizard and his mother stepped in and helped me get yet another early birthday present. I feel so loved ;_; ♥

 

This is actually going to be a big project for me, as it'll be my first faceup / customized doll ever! And what better character to start with than my earliest original character? Her name is Flash, and you can read more about her here!

I already have eyes and horn parts for her here, but there are a few more things I have to get for her -- a new bust piece, her wig, flatback pearls (because she has facial piercings) and an adhesive for them, maybe a sheet of waterslide decal paper for the tattoo... oh yeah, and clothes. But that just means Ellspeth will have to live with more girls stealing her stuff for the time being. ;p

 

And then her boyfriend will not be too far behind~

I checked out Flash and she has a really cool design, I'm really eager to see how she looks as a DD.

The idea of a character who was designed or planned or engineered before birth to be very powerful but then turned out not to be is one that interests me a great deal, so it's cool to see you exploring that with Flash.

I like her design as well, especially the horns, and look forward to seeing how they look on her doll-version. The fluffy lace dress in one of the illustrations is super cute, too!

Merope: "Yeah, we heard you making excited noises over here so we thought we'd check it out... oh, these are cute!"

N: "Look, this letter is addressed to all of us! buncho-san is saying that she wants Kallecchi to feel better about all the hard things she and her boyfriend's family are going through, and that we all enjoy the things that she and her family made together! That's so sweet ♥"

E: "Yeah, that is pretty cool of her to do, I gotta admit. Although she wants me to share with Merpy, I dunno..."

M: "... wait, what did you call me?"

E: "NOTHING. SHUT UP."

I guess this is sorta self-explanatory -- buncho and I got to talking about things on tumblr and she offered to send my girls some goodies as a pick-me-up. As you can obviously see, it worked.

(Although it took forever to upload these because I kept getting distracted by chores... and speaking of, excuse the mess in the background. So much cleaning happening, lmao.)
