Good lord is Beatrice looking GOOD! That outfits color is so nice and pastel, it makes her eyes just POP. They look so bright in those pics. I love her look.

 

Oh, I thought about something and forgot to ask you Mitsuki. I bet you are planning on getting both those maid outfits aren't you! I know how you like your maids.... and I can't blame you as both those look so awesome. I am partial to the shorter version tho. I like seeing some leg on my maids!

With the exchange rate lately and Volks USA not charging a ton because of the exchange rate and the cost of shipping, I hope to get them both from Volks USA. It is a long wait though.

 

The longer one can also look like the hakama outfit that girls wear at graduation ceremonies. I can have a couple of my girls look like they just graduated, especially with a March/spring background. For us, it doesn't look like March in March especially if the snow keeps up like it is now. If Volks USA doesn't get these till late May, I think the weather will look March-like enough by then. The only other hakama outfits I have are a couple of miko styled ones and Mashiro's transformation set which would look reasonably appropriate for graduation. Maybe I can also have one girl who goes against tradition and wears the short skirt outfit to graduation.

 

I love the cute short skirt one too. The long skirt outfit will be the longest skirt on a maid outfit I own.

Beatrice looks incredible! Just when I had thought I'd decided on Kudo too... And then the next Dolpa at the end of April will have Rider, with my luck...

 

Lots of nice outfits this time around, I'll be chasing after at least one of the maid sets too...

I'm really excited about Beatrice. I really like the character, so I'll be putting in for her in the hopes of making her my first DD!

 

I'm glad to see pictures of her with a different wig. I hadn't been completely sold on the face sculpt, but she looks better in these pictures. I've always been somewhat of the opinion that DDs look better with down-styles than they do with their hair up, especially in photos, so I like how she looks in these better than with her default wig.

Jeez... Volks looks to have finally figured out how to take proper pictures of their girls! These are quite lovely. I am sure she will sell out quick looking as cute as she does. Makes me want to sell a kidney or two....

'Squeals' Boy oh boy this is unexpected, but I really hope to get a chance at buying her during the lottery entries! I can't wait!

 

 

P.S. Forgive my newbie question, but what does "passed" mean exactly? Also, when you said "Wait until June or save a couple hundred bucks?" does that mean she'll be like an instock doll by that time? I'm still pretty new to the Volks lottery world lol.

Since the new DDs are licensed characters from animes, there's always a possibility that whoever holds the rights to the show decides that they don't want them released in the US or whatever. So I just meant they're both going to be available.

 

The thing about June is that, at least as I understand it, it takes like three months before your doll actually comes if you win one fo the Volks USA ones. Like with Saber Lily, who came out a few months back, the people who got her from Volks International got her months ago, but the ones who did the Volks USA lottery are still waiting for theirs to show up. I could buy it from Japan and have her soon, but it would mean spending quite a bit more between shipping and exchange rate issues. (Beato's over $700 if you do the direct conversion of the Japanese price, plus the extra few bucks for the second outfit and the more expensive shipping.)

I'm pretty sure Volks USA ships by boat rather than plane. Then they pass the savings on to you! If you go with Volks USA, MaxArcher, you'll save a few bucks that can go towards more outfits, you know.

 

I'm pretty sure I can swing getting Kudo!

I love Beatrice so much. Erg. It's her eyes! I wanted to watch the anime so I would have some idea of who she is first and it's pretty good thus far. She a really lovely doll. The only thing you can be certain of is that Volks will find a way to make something else that will make your heart sing when you see it. I thought I wanted Kudo too.... but Beatrice is out of this world!

 

The maid outfits are gorgeous. I really love the longer one. After I asked in another thread if Mitsuki was going to order them, I found my answer here with the lovely Kyoto 8 pictures. Makes sense. ^^;;; <--- still new=me.

I love maid outfits. These are an unusual style too.

My chest is in a knot waiting for results on Beatrice. Not sure if they said it online but they should be coming some time this week, or so I was told while at Tenshi-no-sumika LA over the weekend.

I just started watching Umineko no Naku Koro ni, the anime that Beatrice is from, but I'm only 5 episodes in and it's still way to early to see how I feel about her.

 

So far the show has been very but it seems like it's taking a turn.
