Best of luck to everyone hoping to get Beatrice.... or anything else.

 

I just started watching Umineko no Naku Koro ni, the anime that Beatrice is from, but I'm only 5 episodes in and it's still way to early to see how I feel about her.

 

So far the show has been very but it seems like it's taking a turn.

 

 

Hang in there. It doesn't begin to pay off until the later episodes- aka after ep5. Unless I miss my guess Beatrice doesn't really begin to appear until episode 6 and they've not even gone into the metaworld yet. Since the series is based on a visual novel mystery the anime really does try to follow that theme- the life and death of each character is really irrelevant and the events will play out multiple times with the characters trying to solve the identity of the murderer. The characters die multiple times in horrible ways. Since Beato is an "Endless Witch" (not a spoiler since it says so on her Volks description) she can resurrect and kill without consequence. What you really begin to watch for is the answer to the riddle and finding out what actually happened on the island during that night. There's a very real answer and they give it to you over and over again... so you have to see if you can come up with the answer to the mystery!

 

Beatrice is actually quite a fun character but I have always had a thing for villains- especially misunderstood ones. ^^

That's great! I was getting worried even though it isn't my adoption. I can't imagine how stressed you must have been. Congratulations! It is a long wait, so you can rely on us for support. I can't wait to see your photos of her.

I'm glad I finally don't have to hold my breath anymore, haha. I'm looking forward to taking pics of her.

 

I'm also looking forward to filling the empty spot in the new display case my GF and I bought to house her two new daughters and my upcoming one. (Although, being Beatrice, I'm not sure I can bring myself to think of her as a "daughter"!)

Yeah, I'm not sure what someone is when they are over 1k old. ^^ Although.... she will probably be the HBIC of my dollfies. (i.e. in charge) ^^

Wow, thanks for adding those Mitsuki! Kudo looks too cute in that wig! Too bad that wig gets all frizzy REAL fast... I like mine a lot but its getting so frazzled I had to put it away before it got horrible looking.

 

Beato looks excellent in the darker wig. makes her eyes stand out even more. And isn't that a DDdy outfit she is wearing? She certainly looks good in it...

So, who gave Kudo the sake? Or is she drinking that "sakura tea" tea stuff that is basically saltwater with cherry blossoms floating in it? Sakura tea is really pretty to look at, but not very much of a tea or more like a thin soup.

Oh, I was thinking of getting that same outfit for Kudo, and the matching pink set for Louise!

That last pic of Beato is awesome. She is rocking that maid outfit HARD! I hope anyone who went in for the maid sets gets them. They are quite spectacular if you ask me. I know Mitsuki loves them....

They haven't done the US sale yet for these maid sets? I thought they did already! That means I may be able to get one of the short versions then! WHOO HOO!

 

When is that supposed to happen? Any ideas? I have not looked since I thoguht these were all gone...
