Achievement Unlocked: Body in the Closet

I have passed yet another milestone in this hobby. I now have an extra full body in my closet. The next logical step of course is to find a head. Good gravy, picking a head is hard!!!! Or rather, picking a faceup is really really hard!! I need to get some faceup artist recommendations and start feeling them out. I've looked at all the DD head threads, and some photos online, and I am leaning heavily to an 06. I want her to have red red hair. Haven't decided on eye color yet. At first I thought red too, but Yaya has red eyes. Green and blue also seem popular with red haired anime girls. Yumi has green eyes, and Miku's are kinda green-blue, so I was leaning towards a vivid deep blue. I have no idea how some of you folks can have so many OCs, this is hard! Yumi was easy, MDDs just seem to come with their own character. Sigh.

Congrats. I've never managed to have an extra body, only waaaaaaay too many heads. Have you considered purple eyes? They're less conventional with red hair but can still be really pretty.

Ah awesome! I have yet to get a body before a head so you've beaten me to that milestone! Purple would be cool! Blue would be too though... The natural conclusion is to go with heterochromia! One blue and one purple.What skintone is the body if I may ask? I can't help but make excited predictions. lol

I'm in the same boat. Won't be getting a head for this body until the end of the year lol. Good choice if you go with an 06 though! I'm biased as someone who currently has two of them and they look nothing alike...I like the variety of the 06 a lot. I'm a third vote for purple!

Congrats on your achievement! It's so much easier to have a random body around than a random head. To me, the head always seems to want a body as soon as possible. The bodies just kind of hang out, not saying much.

 

As for artists, I suggest Eblktty. She does amazing work and has done several 06 girls. Almost every new girl I get goes directly to her for a face up.

It's a NS DDIII M bust body. I hadn't thought about purple eyes, I might have to look into that. As for the different colored eyes, I've never really cared for that, but I'll have to think about it.

The DDH-06 head is a good choice. Red hair I think looks best with green eyes. There are a very good variety of shades & styles to pick from, so you'll likely find something that pleases you. But the beauty of DDs is that changing eyes is an easy procedure, so you're not locked in if you change your mind. You are having fun now, aren't you?

I will also have a 4th, and headless ns body as of this week. I'm not sure what to do with it. I am actively looking for takane though, so in all likelihood I will sell this body. I think it will mostly be dds.
