hello, from a 1/6 Character Doll Enthusiast...

Tasuke

hi, everyone! i've been signed up as a member for a while, but am just now beginning to contribute.

i got started in Anime dolls about 16 years ago, expanding from my very first 1/5ish 2001 TOYNAMI "Tenchi Muyo!" dolls to 1/5 TSUKUDA HOBBY dolls from the late-1990's, and finally settling on 1/6 OBITSU BODY-based girls, a combination of MegaHouse character dolls and my own customs, vintage 1990's TAKARA character doll heads, (such as SAMURAI SPIRITS "Nakoruru" and Ah! My Goddess "Belldandy") transplanted from their original, stiff TAKARA fashion doll bodies over to the infinitely superior (IMO) OBITSU.

i've ended-up self-teaching myself how to make doll fashions from scratch along the way, right down to the underpinnings. it's way cheaper, and affords far more freedom of personal taste, than pre-fab scale doll offerings out there seem to come even remotely close to...

Welcome!

I also started with anime dolls, before getting an obitsu 27cm, then moved onto dollfie dreams.

I agree doll clothes can seriously be limited at times, so good on you for learning to sew for them!

Do you have a particular Dollfie dream you want to get? Or are you here just to admire them? XD

I have more dollfies than my age in years *×*

I would love to learn how to sew for my future DDs. That’s awesome. Welcome from a much newer member.
