Im not reading into Lelouch much but im almost sure i saw a tweet saying that pre orders would be anmounced from sunrise's twitter account, does that mean hes for sale through danny choo or sunrise? :/

I'm thinking (hoping) it's still going to be through Danny. I think Sunrise is just excited to announce the preorder information?

I do not know how I feel about this right now. . . Unfortunately I just bought a car and have started repaying my student loans so I would have to 'borrow' from my savings account to buy him; I think me getting him will ultimately depend on his price. I want him a lot because I love Lelouch, but I also might want the SmDoll kit, the DD 2B and 9S, Deep Sea Girl, Daughter/Servant of evil. . . . . . . . UGH, sometimes I really hate how expensive this hobby is, I am not even counting all the BJDs and non-doll hobby stuff I want (like the Xbox One X).

That could be! I've been very impatiently waiting to see how much he is going to cost me. I also just bought a car (which I have to get fixed how for $1000) and I haven't paid off my credit card.

I'm wondering if he's going to be Miho kinda limited (licensed, but stock will hang around a few months) or Gourai kinda limited (get the doll in 48 hours or don't get it at all).

 

It kinda worries be, tbh. I know Lulu will be popular and the idea of having to stay up waiting and then endure a click war doesn't appeal to me.

 

I've already bought over £200 worth of clothes for him, it'd suck to miss out on him now although new Eiji would be a mighty cute consolation prize, especially in a Lulu wig

I'm HOPING he's Miho limited with plenty of stock. But I'm also afraid people aren't going to take so long to consider buying him because of how fast Gourai sold out. I also don't want to bother with a quill ok war; I never seem to win them myself!

 

Ooh! I didn't even think of buying him clothes before hand. SMD boys seem hard to find clothes for; is that true? I can't wait to see him in all the stuff you bought for him! I'm probably just going to have him in his uniform.

 

I am hoping that Danny will release the other CG character soon (SUZAKU) and that maybe he'll produce the S2 zero outfit! I prefer S2 because it's a 2 piece and not just a bodysuit.

I know! I literally woke up to move my car so my Mom could go to work and just 'happened' the check twitter as I laid back down (5 am here) and saw his ordering was open! I might have missed him if I did not wake up early. Trying to decide btw the standard and deluxe. I want the deluxe version, but I really can barely afford the standard so that should be the one I go with.

I got one xD at least...I've taken him through checkout. I'm a little nervous though...

 

Ironically I've been stalking like a madwoman for days...I checked the website when I woke up, and he wasn't up yet. I went to get breakfast and left my phone upstairs, and in that 40 mins he appeared *facepalm* ^^;; and I notice Danny was saying on twitter only like 10 mins after the order opened that he was already almost maxed out...yikes...so hopefully my order won't be cancelled.

 

Good luck to anyone who wanted this cute fella! What a stunning success Danny is having with these licensed dolls, hopefully this means more in future.

 

@Serisu I will picspam all of his outfite when he arrives haha ~ I've mostly just been buying SD stuff for him. I figure it's close enough, it works for my SmD girl.

I was originally going to go with deluxe but decided on standard. I was thinking of using the second head for another OC who would need LOOOOOOOOts of customization including being straight up dyed cause he's not even remotely white looking lol. But I have enough flaoting heads at the moment and Markus would honestly be insulted to share a sculpt with Jace (One of my most awful people) so I'll wait for other things.

 

And yeah... I really hope no one gets cancelled. Surely they can design the site to just say it's out of stock once it hits max limit right?

I kinda like the fact that on that order page, there is a link to buy extra bodies. Both the 'Slim' and 'Macho' versions are available. So, if you wanna get the deluxe version, you can get a body for it.

Out of curiosity, how much was the standard one? It's sold out by the time I work up.

I joined a split for the deluxe version with a friend. She wanted the smiling head only. Worked out for both of us since I couldn't get a full default set at the time. I'll get him a slim body in the next few months. My first anime male doll, how exciting!

...and now he's completely gone. That was fast! I wonder how many Lulus Danny made. In the end I decided to not get him after all, but I still like his sculpt. It's also nice to know that he still comes with stain protective gear on top of having his clothes previously stain-tested.

I'm ordering mine through Fabric and Friends because I didn't want to throw down $700 up front (even though it is so much less than I expected!) and got a 3 month layaway. We'll see if I actually stick to that. I'll probably just get impatient.

 

I wish he was shipping out already to others since he was premade, though, so I could see more pictures and I love watching and looking at box openings.

 

I'm tempted to eventually get a second body and commissioning or attempting to make his Zero outfit myself for the geass head. I imagine I'm mostly going to be using his smiley head.

Has there been any word on shipping yet? Will he stick to the original expected shipment dates or is early shipment still on the map, I mean.

I am pretty sure Danny is teasing at Suzaku lately (and probably CC, since we've seen what it looks like her wig for a couple times, and in one picture on insta, he said "guess which two" so we are expecting two characters from CG ).

Aaaaaa- people are getting their Lelouchs and they look so much nicer in customer photos.
