Thanks! I agree, the outfit is super detailed and very well made. And you're also right about it being expensive! This is hands down the most expensive clothing set I have ever purchased. It used to be the Mikuru School Uniform set that came with her long wig..... this one:

THAT outfit runs $200 on YJA and Mandarake all day, every day. I've never seen it go lower. So I figured that would be the biggest money outfit I'd ever get.

Seriously, that wig was THE main reason I wanted this set! Sure, the outfit is cool and all and the sneakers rock. But that wig is just amazing.

Yup! It got here in 3 days, well 4 if you count the day they said it left them in Cali. But still, it was nice to get so quickly.

 

About the ribbons..... there are SO MANY on it! Really, they hid ribbons everywhere on this outfit. Each shoe has 2 on it, each stocking has 3 on it, there are ribbons inside the school crest, there's a big butt ribbon on the back of the sweater.... it goes on and on! I'm going to do a full photo shoot of this soon so I can show everyone all the cool stuff it came with and all those darn ribbons!

Any outfit that comes with a wig, you can immediately bump up the price! Especially that Mikuru one, it's beautiful.

Lol my poor akane was supposed to have a darker style and I've been dressing her up in all sorts of everything much to her dismay.

 

Anyway planning to go the custom route with this doll. Going to make her all minty and teal themed.

 

Congrats to those who got to order dolls and outfits. I'm especially looking forward to Kirito shots. Saw him briefly at AX and he looked much nicer in person. If I had the extra cash I'd have grabbed him too.

I got an update today from Volks USA saying the SAO Kirito and Asuna-Titania dolls should start shipping out on Sept 21st.

 

 

Finally. Now, I can get excited again.
