Sara ~ Retro Chiffe Dress ~ Angell Studio

Recommended Posts

Some pics of Sara wearing a super cute dress I found on Mint on Card made by Angell Studio.

Overall the outfit included the dress, hair accessory, necklace, bracelet, panties, and socks. I really love all the details that were put into the dress and all the awesome little accessories it came with. Also Sara is wearing a new wig made by Angell Studio. I like the wig really well too, it's not as nice as the DollZone wig Rina has on, but it is still nicely made and fits Sara really well.

Sara says please enjoy the pics. ^_^

What the whole outfit looks like, the shoes Sara has on are by Volks. ^_^

Close up of the hair accessory. I love it, so many nice details.

Back of the dress, this would be my only complaint. It just laces up and ties with these ribbons, made it a bit difficult to get on.

Close up of the necklace.

Overall a perfectly cute outfit for my sweet Sara.

*Dies of cuteness overload*

She is just so sweet in that outfit! It looks really great on her! And you're right, it has loads of cool details. All the jewelry it comes with is really nice looking, especially that necklace.

And I love the socks. The flowers are a nice touch.

I'd have to agree with you about the laceup in the back. Since I have big bear claws for hands, I suck at lacing up most DD sized things like sneakers, hair ribbons and dresses. I wonder why they just didn't do a zipper there? Maybe to keep cost down or keep a nice look to it.... Either way it's still a nice dress and Sara makes it look that much nicer.

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

Very cute. I like all the little accessories that come with the outfit. But I agree that outfits that are closed by tying ribbons can be a little annoying, especially if you're dexterity challenged like me. I think the advantage is that it's easier to make it fit more types of dolls.

Did you get the shoes to go with the outfit? Or did you have them already?

Thank you so very much!

As soon as I seen this outfit I was like this must be for Sara. Also the fact it came with so many cool things made it an even bigger must buy.

I know I just love the jewelry, that necklace was a great addition. I'm looking forward to using it with other outfits. I think it's great they added so many little details to it like the flowers on the socks. Things like that really help add to it and make it a unique outfit.

LOL!!!! Big bear claws for hands, that is too funny!!! XD I couldn't help but to picture you struggling to get your girls dressed...lol! XD Even though I'm girl with my tiny hands these ribbons gave me hell...lol! I couldn't get the neck opening open enough, so poor Sara had to get her head taken off to get the dress on. It's the first time I removed her head, I think it ended up traumatizing us both...lol!

I'm really happy you like how Sara looks in her dress. I knew it would be an instant win for you.

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it. I say you are probably right on why they went with the ribbon to tie it off. I still ended up having trouble getting the neck opened up enough and had to remove her head to get it on her. Oh well, it still makes a good fit on the DD body. I purchased the shoes before getting the outfit. I thought they would make a cute match with it and I wanted something a bit different than just going with a pair of black shoes.

She is so lovely in that! It is such a detailed outfit with so many delicate accents. I love the little socks. Her hat is so cute too. The necklace and bracelet are beautiful. Those shoes are the perfect finishing touch. They go so well with the whole outfit. The outfit's color scheme works so well with Sara's soft colors too. So beautiful!
