Hi!

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you, my name is Cecilia and I'm a 25 year old girl from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 

I've always liked dolls so I got into pvc models and resin kits but my collection never got to grow enough since I was just an average teenager with little to no money to spend, so I just forgot about everything and focused on studying and working for a couple years.

 

Dollfies used to be my holy grail and always seemed out of my reach but, as many of you probably know, life always ends up working in mysterious ways and in december 2016 I ended up traveling to Japan... and yes, the first thing I did was going to Akiba's Doll Point and ended up buying Candy and Mirai And then I went on a rampage and couldn't stop getting wigs and clothes for my girls, I had waited so many years to have them on my hands, being able to finally achieve that dream was amazing.

 

And then when I thought things couldn't be more perfect, during another trip to Radio Kaikan I found her: Kanu Unchou! Ikkitousen used to be my favorite manga and she still is my favorite character ever, back then when Volks announced her I knew I had to get her but back then it was impossible. At first I felt terrible since she was so expensive and I could not afford her because I had splurged so much on the other two girls, but my boyfriend just went and bought her for me as a Christmas present T_T

 

I also tried to get Sheryl Nome but my credit card got rejected (hahaha), I'm aiming for her and Alna on my next trip >_>

 

Since then I have been hooked and it has helped me renew my passion for sewing

 

I'm glad I finally decided to be part of this forum, DD's community in my country is pretty much nonexistent so it's good to be in touch with people who can share the same love as me.
