This is a photo of all the clothing I had for her at the time. It's almost all Nightfall stuff with one or two Puppy52 pieces in there along with some things from the late, great D.Ark and only 3 Volks outfits. And yes, it's amazing how quickly a collection can outgrow the 3 drawer. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to sort and store this growing collection. Gabriel Posted July 16, 2017 I don't really have any images strictly of my initial plunge into the Dollfie Dream world, but it does turn out I have pictures of nearly all of that initial wave. When Amber arrived in late May of 2015, she had no clothes outside of her slip and panties for about a week. The first things which arrived were an order from CoolCat (because at that time Volks USA never had any outfits in stock), and foremost among those items was her bunnygirl outfit. I initially didn't like the Candy default wig, thus the alternate wig here which she still gets the urge to wear from time to time. I don't think I ever explicitly shared that one before. You know, it really didn't occur to me until the recent photo of all my girls that Amber is always waving at the camera. I guess she's been doing that all along. She has some pink heels on which I managed to damage almost immediately when putting them on her. Tecra recently got some use out of the sweater. Yes, she's in her Coolcat bodysuit even in these pink things, and the skirt is even white lined. I had read about staining and was greatly fearful. I still am. White Dress by Gabriel Alexander, on Flickr Very shortly thereafter, I got this dress for Amber from a seller on Amazon. I wasn't too clear on all the various abbreviations in the dollfie world. I thought this dress was going to be a long one. I didn't realize at the time it was for a MDD. However, it does kinda sorta fit, although it's better on a M bust than Amber's L bust. It's kind of become an introductory dress for all my girls (except Cynthia. She absolutely refuses such hand me downs and who it wouldn't fit on anyway.) There's also the pair of gothic lolita style shoes which was the last other thing I got from that initial CoolCat order. So, yeah. In Amber's first month, she had a bodysuit, a bunnygirl set, a pink sweater, a pink miniskirt, three pairs of shoes, some white pantyhose, some frilly socks, a white dress that didn't really fit her, the slip and panties she arrived with, the default wig, and the long ivory haired alternate wig. While I'm good about getting plenty of shoes for my girls. I've never been good at getting underwear. What bras and panties they have are acquired purely because they're part of sets. Ekidonia Posted July 16, 2017 Nice idea of photos ^^ Your Manami had already a lot of things, Billy ! For me, Yoko (i sold her) and asuka arrived the same day, the June 6th 2012. They had their default outfit, a dress more for yoko (in the picture), and 2 for asuka. The second is here (with my rat.. i miss her) : The first really nice outfit i bought for them were in october with the neris' outfit for asuka (i styled her default wig) and a wa-lolita for Yoko (and a new wig too for her). I also changed theire eyes : I did't have a lot of things in fact (i didn't have a job). Started with one and now Im up to 16... all Billys fault. Now, this is a story all about how our life got flipped-turned upside down as Billy showed up with Manami to start trouble in the neighborhood. XD We were all but bleb resin owners who got infected with the DD virus. Everyone in the dollmeet group now has one. Heck even Lani broke after several years of holding strong and got one. I seriously did not think she would. But anyway, I love my dolls nontheless and still plan on getting more. Nowhere near what you have but a few more cant hurt, right? At home: Too many.... As for the growth, that 3 drawer wasn't enuff after I got my 2nd and 3rd girls. With them came more clothing and accessories so I had to move on to those large, thin slide-under-the-bed style plastic tubs. I now have 6 of those full as well as 2 more larger ones. I think there were only 2 other guys there and one was someone's BF so he didn't own any dolls. No one had ever seen a DD in person before so everyone passed Manami around and was amazed with how light she was and at how big her boobies were. But yes, she and I infected everyone in the group and now there are way more DD girls than resins! The thing that really got me was how much everyone changed after getting the DD's. Before, when it was all resins, only one or two of you guys would actually do posing and take pics of your dolls at the meets. Now, everyone does them, takes photos and is WAY more energetic and open about stuff. It made me really happy to see that happen. And thank you to everyone else who has shared pictures! I love seeing older photos of collections before they became what they are today. Speaking of that, I found a few pics of what my bedroom dressers USED to look like before the girls totally filled the tops. The first one is when I just had 3 girls. There are no markings on it so I have no clue who made it. I got all 3 bits of furniture for $50 so I was super happy about it. None of them stain and all of them are still in great shape. finnleo Posted July 17, 2017 mmm, despite having catalogued my anime trinket collection rather nicely, the doll side of things have been limited to pretty much just group shots the ladies over the years.. and finding a timeline of pictures was a bit tricky, since I had suffered a harddrive failure somewhere in between here or two so sources varied. crappy-cam warning, since the first shot of feena was on a 4mpx sony cybershot... dates (or thereabouts in the photos) Just made it for christmas in 2007: hist000 Collection of school uniforms, Saber is lurking somewhere... hist001 at this point I basicly got evicted from the loft I was living at... influx of girls dwindled a bit since house payments and such... hist002 Illya lottery win: hist003 hist004 hist005 This one annoys my a bit, since it reminded me of the Parabox Nemurihime head I have that is cute as a button, but is suffering from sealant issues. hist006 The last of the point and shoot cam photos... hist007 hist008 Last arranged shot of all ladies in one photo.. in 2014 when Milly arrived.. .after this I've split the christmas greetings into groups. misc33 Might have to rethink of a full group photo this week when my birthday present to myself arrives, now that I even have the platform to do it on... but might need more furniture... hrmm. Noxxbunny Posted July 17, 2017 (edited) I don't know how you guys do it having so many! I can't even handle 5. @_@ 3 was more manageable to me for sure. Not an old picture...But this one shows the evolution of my storage lol(excuse Yuzuha in the background there): I went from that small clear box with my first boy to the larger blue box when I got my second boy...And then I had a freak doll explosion where I got 3 more added to my group. Another boy and two girls. So that's when I had to bust out those two blue drawer boxes and the newest addition is the pink flower box. The clear box is now for a spare head and doll clothing hangers. I don't use the cube box for doll stuff anymore. The first blue drawer one is all clothes for my boys and one drawer is for my Dollce girl. The second box is accessories, wigs, options hands, and shoes. The pink box is for my girls' dresses because I don't want to fold those and wrinkle them, but it'll be a while before their clothes outgrow that box. I don't see a ton of dresses that I even want for them these days and if I want casual clothes...I just wear them myself. Or the boys get the casual stuff. I'm not into suits or fancy outfits for them. I'm super boring about all their underwear though. Plain white for all of them. Guys and girls. I never see it anyway. I was very excited about visiting the Volks store but I knew you can't take non-Volks dolls there. I started researching Volks dolls in more detail and stumbled across Dollfie Dream Rise. Before then, I had had no real interest in Dollfie Dreams but being a HUGE Persona 4 fan, I just had to have her. Luckily, I found her fairly quickly on DOA and in August 2013, this cutie joined my household : This is Rise with a very temporary look. I had envisioned her as a cute lolita or cosplay-wearing girl. But when she arrived, I only had plain clothing. Luckily, a couple of days, her wig and outfit arrived : In 2014, she got a friend, Chie (a Smart Doll Mirai). In 2017, Aisha (a Smart Doll Kurenai) joined the group. A little Jansport bookbag, thanks to sinclair for the tip! This was when Ellspeth's wig finally came in. The bangs were too long for what I wanted to go for, so I bit the bullet and trimmed them myself... and they turned out fantastic!
