My first box opening VIDEO! Lots of goodies!

Well, I finally got around to making a doll video! To be exact, a box opening video!

 

The story on this is basically that a very good friend of mine is leaving the hobby and we did a deal so that I could adopt three of his girls. I also got a lot of clothing and anime figures too. He took extremely good care of me on this deal and I cannot thank him enough.

 

So on to the video! Please ignore my unshaven head..... I've been lazy and it's got a weeks worth of fuzz built up. Also, the lighting seems to fade in and out for some reason but you can see well enuff. Lastly, this video makes me look really fat. LOL

-I almost checked my phone when the text alert went off even though I'm not actually using that noise anymore.

 

-Ahahahaha I love how you just casually start throwing the air packets at each other.

 

-*sees the figures start coming out* Nevermind that box isn't huge enough. Is it the box version of a clown car? Or is the man who packed it secretly a Time Lord, and it's bigger on the inside?

 

-Billy, they're OBVIOUSLY "butt-erflies."

 

-It feels like every other figure is a race queen. =P

 

-Becca's voice when she first pulls out the kitty Sonico! Awesome. I do that kind of thing with my voice when I'm excited too. 10/10 approved.

 

-Person, stop texting Billy, we're busy. *waves vaguely to the side*

 

-AW MAN PHAT COMPANY SHIRO I ALMOST BOUGHT THAT FIGURE AND TALKED MYSELF OUT OF IT

 

-"I adopted her, along with. . . others." And then the giggle, that was hilarious.

 

-Aha, we now have REI'S TRUE ARCHNEMESIS. . . which I paused to type RIGHT BEFORE YOU FREAKIN' SAID IT stop reading my mind, dude

 

-It's as messy now as Christmas morning with small children. Excellent!

 

-Did Becca just sniff Akira's head? XD

 

-Holy crap stuff just keeps on coming out of Asuka's box.

 

-Saber traveled with Nendo bits? XD

 

-Oh my god, SHOES.

 

Awesome haul! That was pretty incredible. Can't wait for photos of the new girls all put together though!

Wow, I know that's a big box, but I didn't think it would be able to hold all of that stuff! It's like a Mary Poppins bag of figurine goodness!

 

How many dolls does that make now? I thought I was doing really good on remembering all your girls, but I think I've lost track. I don't even know how you manage to keep up with your ever growing numbers, you must be a really good doll papa to be able to care for all of them and not forget a single one!

THAT is one heck of a box opening video like a magic box that you can keep pulling out all kinds of goodness

Actually, I'm impressed he was so quiet and unobtrusive for this! Normally he's all up in any boxes that arrive at the house!

I don't know if you could tell or not but I was also amazed at how much stuff was packed into that box!

These 3 girls make put my grand total at 52! As far as my ability to take care of the army I have, I thank you for your compliments! And it's not super easy to do but basically, I take one girl a night with me to do whatever I'm doing.... whether it be playing online or watching TV. They sit in my lap and get 3 or 4 hours alone with me. I change their clothing, check for stains and brush their hair. This way, everyone gets equal time with me and I make sure they're changed and looking their best!

Well YOU were the one who packed that magical box of goodness! How you managed to get almost every nook and cranny filled was amazing to see. Especially the Asuka box.... that thing never seemed to empty out!

Lenny is just so chill. He couldn't care less about what we do to him as long as he gets to nap. As for where I keep it all, the new DD girls will go in the bedroom with the rest of them. The anime figures will go on shelves with my others in the computer room and the clothing will go into bins with my other stuff in the craft room.

It was definitely the largest haul I've ever gotten besides my first Japan trip back in 2010. But this one means more to me since I was able to adopt some really nice girls from a really good friend and help him out in the process.
