I have been lurking in the DD community for a couple of years now, I used to have a resin girl but I recently sold her back in 2016 due to lack of my care and I needed some time since I can't get her to carry around (she's albeit heavy as well). I recently decided to get a DD (after 3-4 more years in college because I am slow as a turtle) hoping mine would be either Rena or Miko first before a custom girl, I used to disregard dollfie dreams for a while until I watched Fate Zero and watched gameplay of Fate Extra/CCC. I was so enamored with Arthuria and Nero and their models (especially Nero) so I decided to give dollfie dreams a shot I recently watched the anime Fate Apocrypha and I wish that Volks created a Jeanne DD which would be cool and say bye bye to my money And I play Fate Grand Order which is really a cool game by the way Besides the point, I also love pullips and I love lolita fashion tho I decided to let my dolls wear them because I ain't got no time for that (for now). You can describe me as a history lover with a thing for dolls and kinda complicated. You can call me Jinn. By the way, thank you for accepting me here and have a wonderful day. I've dramatically down sized my resin crew over the years and now only have two. Dd have completely won my heart. I used to kind of look down at the aesthetic as well. I went through a stage from 17 to 21 where I heavily disliked anything that made me feel like a weaboo. (Lol so lame xD) and over the years I just realized I like what I like and I can't help that so whatever. I feel like vinyl is definately easier to carry around for me and care for. That's awesome your a fate fan! Rin and Aoko are my favorite girls. Also sculptwise. my Rin Tohsaka was my first DD and i stubbornly waited many years for her. it is a mystery to me as well why they don't make more of the characters I'd love to see that too. Fate grand order is pretty cool and fun. I hope you are able to snag one of those models soon! volks is also coming out with 3 new standards pretty soon so you might be able to find the girls you like a little cheaper on mandrake or 2nd hand. Almost forgot to mention that I'm a lolita as well I don't really have many clothes that are lolita style for my rin, but there is one I have that isn't her style but I couldn't resist shoving it on her anyway.
