Mei and Eevee wander the forest in the early morning.

Unfortunately, the sylvan idyll is marred by a giant car in the background. >__<

In the evening, the golden light falls all about her.

I debated whether or not to get this outfit for Mei for about a year, and I'm very glad I finally did. I think it suits her style and coloring well.

And perhaps they heard some flying-type Pokémon up in the trees...Mei is likely hoping that it's a Zapdos or Moltres or Articuno, but it's most likely a Pidgey.

I took some more shots yesterday since I had a cute tiny daifuku that made a nice giant daifuku for Mei.

Eevee also wishes to partake of the daifuku.

"Ehhh...Eevee, it's not for you...

I was also testing out another lens, the famous Soviet Helios 44-3, at golden hour. Notice how the bokeh swirls around her? It's a technical defect (called the Petzval effect, I believe), but it looks quite good for portraits. This lens is quite well known for it.

My current adapter doesn't work very well with the Helios 44-3, but I just ordered one that's thinner and should work better, so I get to get more use out of this splendid lens!
