Yukari Akiyama is one of the main cast from the hit anime series Girls Und Panzer and now for the first time ever as a 60cm tall fashion doll.

 

Yukari Smart Doll comes with a 2 piece bikini, school uniform (blouse, ribbon, skirt, socks, loafers) and telescopic stand.

 

Pre-orders start on 2017 September 4th JST and end on September 18th JST. Quantities are limited and once the limit has been met then the pre-order period will end even before the closing date - if you want her then order as soon as you can.

 

Shipping is scheduled to start on 2017 October 2nd and may take up until November 2nd depending on how fast you was able to checkout. However depending on the production line we may be able to start shipping before October 2nd. While you are at it - how about picking up Miho Nishizumi at the same time?

Her face is so cute. I really want to change her wig and eyes to make a character of mine. It's fortunate her announcement happened just as I was looking in to a 2nd doll, maybe it's fate, eh?

Bummer, I am not sure why the girls never seem to catch my eye. Although that wig is kinda nice.

LOL!! I actually thought it was the Miho sculpt reused but after seeing some photos of them side-by-side on Twitter, Yukari does look like a different sculpt. Still, she is very similar to Miho and Mirai.

I'm not so sure about her being a Mirai, she looks like a repainted Starlight to me

 

Whilst I am impressed by the wig I must admit I feel a little bummed out that the only new license head he made for the female line is Nami. All the others seem like a recycle of already existing dolls. Not always a bad thing but it does bring up that same-face-syndrome topic up again.

They may not be the exact same mold, but it's pretty clear Mirai, Miho, and Yukari are all sculpted using the same base model-with few, subtle edits. Ergo, Near-ai.

I'm really surprised how closely accurate she looks like Yukari. I mean Miho looked good too but slightly off, however I think this Yukari looks way more on point.

That's because Nami was a special collab with megahouse. I'm betting they sculpted it.

Girl smartdolls continue to look off to me, but this one looks way more like the character than Miho who is literally Mirai in cosplay... Although the body is still not suitable for these characters at all tbh.

Her sculpt is adorable, omg. I adore her far more than any of the other models and I've never seen this show. I hope he continues to sell her after the preorder like he did with the other one. I wanna see owner pics. I thought Sana would be cute, but her mouth is a wreck, haha.

I agree, the body is too tall and too mature.

 

Yukari looks nice, but the eyelid crease looks a little too high.

Making something seem highly sought after is a pretty standard marketing tactic. People are more likely to buy something if they know they've gotta hurry. It's why dolls I was 'meant' to buy last year I still don't have because they're standard and I can get them whenever, so they're at the bottom of the priority list 8')

Still, this show is inexplicably popular but 48 hours seems like ages if you're used to how quickly a Volks or Azone clickwar is over. (I still can't get over Mermaid Minami. -one minute-.)
