If anyone is going could they pick me up one, pretty please?! Or if anyone sees one for sale, point me to it. And if you get one for yourself, please post photos of it on your girl(s)! Monty Posted August 31, 2017 Volks have confirmed there will be new products announced. We'll probably know what those are tomorrow - the event starts at 12 JST so expect leaks online a little after then. They announce stuff every Magical Mirai - it's THE even to announce and exhibit Vocaloid stuff after all (moreso than SnowMiku although that's big too). Sometimes only concept art, though, and it can take a while for the real thing. (Rin/Len took nearly a year to be shown after they were announced, and Ribbon Girl, which was announced at the same MM that Rin/Len were, wasn't shown until SnowMiku.) The Happi are 2700 yen including tax. If anyone wants me to try to get them one PM me (so long as you have paypal I guess). NOTE that I can't guarantee I can get them, for all I know they'll sell out quickly, or Volks will have a one per person rule, but I can attempt to, and that's better than nothing. Really?) which is raising concerns about mass buying for the sake of scalping. Really cheeses me off. I mean it's fine if you wanna pick up some extra for friends which is basically what I extended the offer to do, but there's should be a limit, especially when it leads to others missing out. Again I don't know if the mass buying is happening with Volks or if they do have a limit, but there have been complaints on twitter re: other stuff. (I'll spare you my rant about how I feel about otaku buying hundreds of the same item just for the sake of proving their devotion/the satisfaction that no one else can have it) For those worried about missing/not affording Luka, don't worry - I'm sure she'll take a while longer. I'll honestly be surprised if she's as early as March Dolpa. SisterKyoya Posted September 1, 2017 It is so fun seeing Raven so overwhelmed by the Luka announcement that he walked in with his mouth hanging open and has been virtually speechless since. I hope she isn't lottery, but since Raven considered having a custom Luka when he was trying to decide on her or Yuriko, Luka is simply not optional. Not thrilled that she isn't going to be a DDdy (says DD on the pic and she has no hips!?!) and I hope her expression is happier. I know that's her box art, but her expression really does not reflect the personality she normally is portrayed as. Raven was over the moon about Miku, but even she was his #2 choice. marishade Posted September 1, 2017 Luka is not a priority for me (Rin and Len are my favorite Vocaloids) but it is nice to see that they are making her, I wonder what this means for the rest of the 'standard' Vocaloids? Is she really not going to be Dynamite? That kind of surprises me, I guess we will just have to wait and see what the final product looks like.
