-scary music- Just when you thought you were save from new releases...It's the terrifying Volks News! Halloween edition!

I didnt want to take photos of the entire magazine so I'm mainly just sharing what I thought would be of interest to people here. I put the Saber/Jeanne pics in the thread for them.

 

Some stuff to note:

1. The new standards (Karin, Towa, Liliru) are, as far as I can make out, going to be first available at DD Gathering on October 28th. Trying not to think about how that's just in time for my birthday.

2. All the spiffy new clothes, including the halloween stuff and new Miku outfits, is also on sale from october 28th. Which means that, unfortunately, it's probably not going to reach people overseas till after Halloween...

3. Those D'Coord school uniforms are exactly that, an outfit that only D'Coords have. I was wondering why there wasn't a D'Coord-only outfit sooner tbh, considering the SD coordinate models have their own outfits you can't get anywhere else, which changes every few months. I kinda like this idea, it makes the D'Coords more special and makes them feel more like fullset dolls, although I'm still glad I got the non-limited dress that Bri came with cos its awesome and suits her more than these.

4. That kimono Miku has on here: (https://www.flickr.com/photos/144151963@N08/36992104912/in/dateposted-public/)does not seem to be an item for sale, rather its for an exhibition in Kyoto. It looks really beautiful though so it'd be nice if they made it an item you can buy in future.

5. VIP items this time are another pair of holding hands (called 'lovers', the way the hands are joined is more dainty) and thumbs up hands, and I'm sad the thumbs up hands arent in tan cos I need those for Bri :c

Ahh thank you so much for the photos! I must say I'm tempted by some of the outfits a lot, especially the brown-green stripped dresses, because I have one of them in pink and they were so gorgeous and well made!

Kyoto Takashimaya, 7th floor grand hall. It seems to be an exhibition focusing on popular Japanese characters - it also lists Rilakkuma and Atom (Astro Boy) as examples. If you're there between September 13th and 25th you should check it out! Entrance is free, dunno if photos are allowed but I'd like to see some if they are!

Thank you again! I know the pain of the shoes... I'm good about most except boots. That means I'm at least safe from these in October. Boots though...

 

I really love the witch hat and the cape coats.

Oh man.. the koibito hands! I wish they sold those normally! I kept trying to make the nakayoshi hands work for a photo idea, but these would be SO much better and less awkward. I wonder how they look with a male and female DD, if it would look really odd if the girl's other hand was normal-sized. Also, I love how they say you can make your girls hitchhike with the GJ hands lmao

 

All of those Halloween clothes are awesome, though I'm actually most excited for the retro 'going out' outfits! The navy blue one is meant to fit SS/S(M?) bust DD/DDS/DDSB right? I'm also happy that Volks is making a MDD/DDP version of the grey blazer school uniform.

I wish they'd stop rereleasing stuff in different colours/sizes. I mean it's cool, but I want new stuff ;_;

Going for one of the Halloween Outfits though

Hope these VIP hands will have a lottery release in Volos USA just like last years.

So annoyed that the kimono isn't an outfit to buy, so want. Will have to get the Miku dresses somehow. And I want the D'COORD school outfit, but you said I can't buy it? Ouch! Now the White Rose Collection long black dress outfits, do they just have big collars, or are they sailor collars? If they are sailor style collars, I'll need to get one, or else pass. Looks like Saber will get another nice Pink Label outfit. And there are pantsu, always have to get pantsu.

Phew. I was worried when I saw Halloween outfits, but luckily they don't call to me. I was hoping more for orange/black and not red/black. So looks like I'm safe again!

Oh....I feel like this is gonna hurt so much. I want a few boy outfits for suuuuure. o3o My F38 will look so good in that black Halloween set with the cape, and that's not even including that gorgeous black suit.

 

That Miku kimono is stunning, but I'm not surprised they don't have it as a item you can buy because it looks really quite detailed, and more so than their usually pieces. Especially the outer part. I feel like it would be really hard to mass produce and still look as special.

I'm loooooooooooooving the Halloween stuff. So much cool stuff. Might try and get some of them.

Thank goodness I'm safe from all this stuff too. I was going to go for the black suit, but then I remembered how Volks has bad luck with their black suits.(Stain monsters)

 

It's a shame the D'COORD uniforms are exclusive. I actually love them.

The pink Dragon 2020 set looks so cute, but it looks like it's going to be a stain monster. Miku kimono looks really nice, I can't wait to see some more photos of her.

Ugh, one of my resin guys totally needs that black cape... at least it's separate from the rest of the outfit, so the price shouldn't be too bad. Those suits are gorgeous, too... they look perfect for Saber's Fate/Zero outfit, though I doubt they'd fit her.

I'm somewhat annoyed that the grey coat doesn't seem to have a DDP-fitting size at all. I'm somewhat tempted to just buy the MDD/SDM size and sell it if it fits too oddly, as I really like the design.

The Pink Label MDD skirt and dress set is pretty nice; I might end up getting that one as well.

But the Koibito hands are a must! They're super cute. Hopefully some turn up on Y!JA for a reasonable price.
