AlmySidaKay Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) I sadly didn't get any photos of the actual box opening as I usually do because the box was in shreds, I was able to just lift a flap and pull her out of the box, the moment the post woman handed her over. >.> But... here is Miku's body! She sadly came with the small bust, I found one on DoA for a very nice price so she shall be getting the large bust in a week or so hopefully! (This one isn't coming from over seas.) I also have a friend who just donated me a Obitsu Haruka head so that I don't have to just borrow one, and then I can save up for a Volks head in the mean time. I mostly took comparison shots while she was naked: At least I can get her to stand, maybe it's the gift of owning fickle resin girls too. But thankfully I rustled up some clothing right away: Also, the back of her left leg, the internal skeleton seems to be lower down and is making standing difficult. Any ideas on what to do? It's sadly pouring rain outside, so I get to deal with horrible lighting while inside, thanks for putting up with my first photos! littlebearries Posted December 7, 2011 Yeah, I used to own tons of resin too, and can get my MDD to stand, and wonder if it's through sheer patience gained from trying to get resin to stand, LOL... For MDD bodies, my warning would be to be delicate with her torso joint! My poor girl came with a broken donut in there, and even though I've replaced it, it seems the new one is breaking too, and I have to wonder if it's an MDD thing... and... she falls apart in half all the time at that joint I can't wait to see your girl when she's all together though XD ... and I'll be reading this to see if anyone has any suggestions for the knee joints!! mitsuki Posted December 7, 2011 It is great you got the body. I don't have any MDD experience. I do love that blue wig though.
scripple Posted December 8, 2011 The MDD body has a terrible habit of slowly working itself into pieces in my experience. To fix the leg all you probably have to do is push everything back tight. So straighten the leg and push from the foot up. If it's like mine you'll likely feel various internal joints moving up and you'll have to repeat this from time to time. AlmySidaKay Posted December 8, 2011 Thanks for that perfect description, I'll be trying to fix it this evening when I get home from work.
