This is what happens when you leave me with your toys, you guys. I start making lil mini-plays in 1 act

The meet was a great deal of fun! Here are a couple of my shots--hope it's okay if I add them here.

 

 

Chise's Rin preps buncho's Eiko for the stage or an idol-style photoshoot! Eiko enjoys fashion and all things kawaii, so I wanted to have a purikura/glam editing style in these shots, like something one might see on an idol's blog page. Note: The bokeh texture is from beckas on DeviantArt.

 

 

buncho's Sayuri wears a stately kimono from Dollpa, with a beautiful parasol. Sayuri is (as you may be able to tell from this portrait) an ojou-sama, and the daughter of a wealthy businessman.

 

In the background, Mei prepares to open an interdimensional portal with a mystery key while Rin is poised to dobleepent whatever comes through with her camera. buncho's Fuyumi, deeply concerned by these happenings, is doing her best to turn Mei away from this reckless experiment.

In the foreground, Teke has more important things to worry about. That boss isn't going to defeat himself, after all.

 

 

A mysterious stranger appears! I will let buncho introduce her when she is complete.

 

also, I took a series of Science! photos with buncho's amazing props collections, which I'll post in a separate photostories thread...at some point when I work out the bugs with my RAW processing software >_<

oooh man, Ie-Aster, I feel like this meet was the perfect "by our powers combined..." - the camera, the flash, the tripod - all came together for great snaps!

 

10/10, cannot wait to do again ♥♪

Ohhhhh my god the idol shots!!! I can't handle this!! Gosh, everyone looks so precious and so colorful and so lively. I really agree, you guys worked hard together to take these stunning and fantastic pictures-- between the expertly done setting of the scene (you really have magic hands, Chise), and careful positioning and focus with the camera to capture mood (with a little talking to said camera to aid in doing so, right Ie-Aster? ), you guys really hit this one out of the park. Thank you for letting me and my girls host you both We'd love to do it again soon!

Gosh dern, those Idol shots are amazing.

It really was an excellent collaboration! I think our skills (and equipment as well, eheh) complemented each other well.

 

I'm very glad everyone liked the idol shots so much! I was a tad hesitant about them since it seems a bit odd to use a DSLR for "phone-filter" type editing :p So I'm happy that you all enjoyed them.
