Easier hand sewing help please.

I don't have a sewing machine (nor room for one even if I did). Does anyone know of any patterns that can be easily done by hand? I know some of the basics but now a complete pro at sewing.

 

Any ideas or help would be great.

I did a hand-sewn version of this dress for Nanoha some years ago, when I too was quite the noob:

 

The stiff crepon sheer made the ruffle stick out like a tutu.
