Got Gourai..? [Arrival]

At last, Gourai has arrived!

I was quick to order and she was shipped out on the 29th/30th. I have really been looking forward to getting her since she was announced!

 

So here she is straight out of the box (bag):

 

I plan on posting more photos, but I have to wait on daylight for that. Anyone have any questions or pic requests, now is your chance!

I thought they fixed the wigs for the Gourai's? I'm surprised that they're not. Still very cute, congrats

I watched the anime, Gourai wasn't my fav, but they had to start somewhere. Glad to see she is recognizable as who she is. For sure want to see more photos of her and her outfit details to see how Danny did.

There's a tutorial on how to style the wig on IG. I think it might not have been possible to ship them styled, but I'm not sure.

Not much light today, so I apologize for the occasional dip in quality.

The chest piece could be prone to pop-out, based on if the torso is pushed onto abdomen too much.

I do not think Gourai is a repainted Chitose either. Well, rather, I think it is a slightly altered mold of Chitose. Gourai seem a bit chubbier.

The "armbands" are loose/removable. But sits on her biceps well/firmly.

You probably have to remove the abdomen to get the skirt off.

Her shoes are quite hard to get off!

I do not plan to keep the body, but geez! It is pretty!

 

And yeah, I do not think they could have styled the wigs. It would probably have been too time consuming, and with the risk of them being messed up "in transit"...

Seeing these close up photos she really looks a lot like a Chitose. Faceups can do wonders on changing how a mold looks.

 

The only way to find out is if someone posts a blank head of Gourai(which I doubt many or if anyone will wipe the head.)

Congratulations on her arrival, she definitely looks to be sporting more facial colour than her product pictures

 

I'm pretty sure someone here said that Danny Choo mentioned that Gourai's head is a different mold from Chitose. From what I can tell, even the eye shape at the bottom lid is different. They do bare alot of similarities though, probably is just a vaguely modded Chitose mold.

Considering that you have a Chitose to compare things to I'll be taking your word for the difference in face :

 

But generally so far as an avid 'I want no doubles in my crew' person, the eye shade does look different considering Chitose's eyes taper at the bottom.

 

In any case, so far Danny Choo hasn't lied to anyone. He just gets pretty sassy every once in a while or forgets what he posts, but when he knows he answer, he isn't shy to say it.
