Skin tone comparisons (now featuring Volks tan/brown!)

Here are a couple of comparison shots of the various skin tones found on Volks dolls. I also did some shots of two Smart Doll colors too. All of these were shot in the same spot with fixed white balance settings to minimize variation, though some differences may have cropped up due to post processing.

 

Shot with a Nikon D500 using Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AI-S lens @f/5.6, 1/125s, ISO 100 using an SB-600 Speedlight for fill lighting.

Prisma Illya is the one for me. Just started watching the anime last month. Not sure how I've missed this show this long. Pity she costs soooo much 2nd hand.

Mine is an original Illya. I think they may share the same head mold, but different faceups and accessories.
