her face is super cute but the eyes are kind of weird...

Agh the more I look at Towa the more I think I might have to get her when volks usa gets her in stock, she looks so pretty!

I was thinking the same, if someone finds pictures of Karin, I'd very much appreciate them

To be honest I am pretty set that my next DD would be Karin (unless something comes to snatch my attention half way) but I third the notion of owner pictures please She's so pretty even in her company photos

You'll see all kinds of photos of Karin, if Volks USA gets her before February. I am so getting her.

 

As for Towa, those JYA photos show her as I would totally have her. That faceup is so much better than the one Volks does. A kind charming beauty. But I already have one of those in my family. Or rather will come Christmas.

I think the problem might lie with the eyes... the eyes they have her in make her look shocked eyes in most of those photos, but the ones that don't, she's very sweet and lovely :3

Not sure if I like that now that I've noticed it. I still plan on getting her, might have to change her blushing to match all the rest of my girls.

Shailara yes you are right.. I think dark eyes will be better on her !

Karin is really cute... she might make a good Osakabe-hime. The eyes are too big, but I think that's partially a difference in "art style" between Hime-chan and DDs. That naughty little smile is too cute.

Interesting! I didn't notice until you pointed that out. Not sure about the blush lines, but I believe this is the first time Volks painted the white 'shine' dots on their own faceups. It seems to be popular in the custom community, it's cool to see how Volks style adapts to trends.

I personally don't like the shine dots, but I know why Volks didn't make them optional, and now that you pointed it out, why they did add them. I actually find it kind of annoying how they've popped up in all the recent anime. Oh well.

When they were first announced, I sort of ignored Karin because I thought Liliru would fit a character I wanted to make and Towa's face was interesting, but now I think I like her the most out of the three. I love her mouth and she looks so pretty in the other wigs. If I get her the orange is definitely going.

In case I haven't said it yet, if people want to get rid of their Karin wigs, let me know and I'll take some of them. It'll give me a chance to play with customizing wigs for my girl once I get her.

I wasn't a fan of Liliru before, but she actually looks super cute in that pic! Maybe that's because you can't really see how much her lip protrudes though...

 

And Towa, ahhhh I'm finally going to pick up my girl tomorrow and I can't wait!!!
