New Standard Models: DDS Karin, DDdy Towa, MDD Liliru

FYI, They are up on the Volks USA web store now. But you have to wait until the 15th to buy them.

Finally someone changed liliru's eyes!! she is exactly what I had in mind, def getting her

I am so glad that these girls will be standards. I was not interested in them at all until I started catching up on these forums a bit and completely fell for Towa and Karin.

 

Karin might be my first big customizing adventure because I think she would make a perfect Megumi Tadokoro and she is my favorite character from Food Wars. I better find a good doll hair supplier so I can start practicing making wigs for Miku in the meantime. I have a feeling that any slightly blue hair color I get, I'll have to make two of because Miku will just outright steal it.

I'm hoping to wait until tax return time. My husband would prefer I wait as well. (Christmas was expensive this year, we got my 12 year old a tablet monitor)

I instantly fell in love with Karin from the promo pics and was not sure if I should get her since I tend to hand over all my paychecks to Danny Choo, lol. However, I just couldn't resist and bought her just now. Hopefully she'll arrive this week. I promise pics if she does...but I warn you, I actually am in LOVE with her default wig, so I probably wont take too many pics of her without it, lol.

Yeah definitely a bit small for me. I'm glad though because I'm not nearly tempted as much. I have a DDH-05 and also feel like her eyes are a bit small.

Karin arrived today and I absolutely LOVE her! I think she's even more beautiful in person than in her promo images, which isn't always the case. And her wig is everything I had hoped it would be. She's great, right? I can't get enough of her. She hasn't left my side since she arrived...except when I've gone to the gym or run errands, lol. I'm seriously so happy with this purchase. Towa is next on my list of DDs, but first I need Smart Doll Infinity.

She is just too cute! Karin doesn't seem to be very popular at the moment, but I think she looks a whole lot better from the limited owner pics I have seen than Volk's pictures. As usual.

Yeah, I think Towa is stealing the spotlight at the moment. But Karin is definitely a beauty. I think as more people see pics of her, she'll become more popular. I do want Towa too. She's next on my list.

I love my Towa, but I'm sad to hear Karin isn't being more appreciated. I waffled a LOT between her and Towa, she has such a sweet little smirk. I hope to see a lot more owner pics of ALL of them soon...they seem to be awfully sparse!
