New Standard Models: DDS Karin, DDdy Towa, MDD Liliru

Orange and green are my two favorite colors and the DDS is my favorite of the body types, I feel like it's only a matter of time before Karin joins my crew.

Karin is the model for one of the new February collection outfits with a different wig, it's a cute look for her.

Volks posted cute photos of Karin in pink and red for Valentine's Day on Facebook. She's wearing a peach pink wig and looks super sweet. I do like seeing her in different color wigs.

I came here to post that, but you beat me to it. But the wig isn't a DD wig they used. Do you know what size it is?

My first thought when scrolling through the page was that she was Iori, but nope it was Karin. xD She really looks like a slightly older Iori with that wig..

Yay so it wasn't just me that saw that in her.

After the fact I did think she looked like Iori too.

 

As for the hair, I mean real dimensions in inches, not SD/SD13 sized.

All three of them are so cute! I realy would like to get Karin and Towa.

Being I failed at getting Sailor Moon, Karin will be my next doll. I'll get her for my birthday at the end of this month. She'll be yin to Yaya's yang.

Ohman, those eyes make her looks like the perfect sculpt for Kousaka Kirino, even without changing her default faceup! Karin, you're killing me!!!

I didn't even notice them in photos until a month after they were released. I'm not a fan of them, but Karin is in my "hit" list. She'll be home before this year is up.

I collect scale figures too, and I have a very few that have these cheek dots, and if they're subtle enough they don't ruin the figures for me though I still wish they weren't there. I agree that they're pretty subtle on Karin, but for some reason they bother me more on dolls than figures, and more than that I'm really put off by her having two of them on each cheek.

Haha. I think they remind me of mime or clown makeup, like painting a tear on your cheek. I've seen occasionally a dollfie with a little heart or something and those can be cute, but I just don't find anything redeeming in those dots.

I know, and it's a trend there I wish would die already too. At least in 2D it kind of looks like a highlight which I guess is the intent. Still looks wrong to me, but not as bad as in three dimensions.

Maybe, but I don't really pay attention to MDDs as they aren't my thing. But I checked and it doens't look like it. I think they are on some other DD besides Karin though; I just don't remember who.

IDK I think they're pretty cute. I will admit that Karin's are a bit weird, not bright enough to go with her look maybe.

Ah, I love Karin so much. I really want to get her. I think her face sculpt is just perfect. I'm really glad to see the photo of her with different eyes.
