Anime NYC Con - Met Danny and bought Melody

Today was one of the best days. I got to go to the 1st Anime NYC Con and met Danny Choo. It was a great convention, but meeting Danny and his wife, seeing the Smart Doll booth, and getting to purchase Melody were definitely the highlights for me...and the main purpose for going. Danny and his wife are the NICEST people. So freaking sweet. I had a really nice talk with both of them, and they gave me a Mirai T-Shirt as a gift, which blew me away. Melody is my 10th Smart Doll and she is GORGEOUS! I got her in the basic outfit because the others are to be picked up on Sunday and I only had a pass to go today (Saturday). I have acquired so many Smart Doll clothes though, so I was totally ok with this. I was just so happy to get her as I think she's so stinking cute, lol. Here are some of my photos...

 

 

 

 

 

He said he booked his booth for 2018 already as well, and that he sold out of half of the stock he brought along yesterday (Friday) and the con was only open for 5 or 6 hours yesterday, so he's doing really well here. I'm on cloud 9 right now.

He is so easy to talk to and seemed genuinely interested in everything I said. It was so much fun talking to him and his wife and getting to hang out at the booth for a while. Definitely a moment I'll never forget.

Congrats on your Melody! She's a definite cutie and it's great you were one of the first people to get one! And it's also very cool that you got to meet Danny and talk to him. You're right, he's an extremely nice guy and very focused on his work. I'm glad I was able to meet him too.

 

I love your pics of you and Melody and you and Danny. You can tell that you're super happy and excited in them.... I think it's cool seeing owners with their girls.
