There is a lot of cool stuff in this issue but luckily, I don't really need it.

Man, I absolutely adore Ruri's outfit and accessories..! I sometimes really wish they'd sell the default outfits separately like they did with Santa Alter.

 

(Please give us a preview of the Nier Automata DDs, I'm still waiting)

Is there any link with images accessible to people without a facebook account? I tried Googling for one but couldn't find it.

Or, if it's not too much trouble, could someone post the outfit page photos directly to the board?

That Twilight Rabbit set is so cute! And yay, Ruri is coming out finally! I have to decide if I want her or Karin more now.... I decided no matter what I'd like one of those girls so just to choose! ><;

 

Either way this is a great release, I also really like the Dormitory boys, and think Rigel is so, so cute, even though I don't think I actually need him. Still a cutie nonetheless. I just wanna pinch his cheeks! x3 The romantic glance boy just pulls at me, but I already have a Romantic Glance Williams so I think I'll hold it on the WS dreamers for now!

I'm a bit disappointed that 2B wasn't in this Volks News, but at the same time I'm happy about it. With the holidays around the corner, and after just recently attending a convention, I'm tapped out of cash so now I have the chance to save. Ruri looks amazing though so who knows. I might need to budget a little bit. XD

 

Also, is Ruri carrying an ita bag!? XD

Here's the annoying part. I was all hyped up for the Christmas outfits and then I realized Dolpa is on the 17th of December and the afterevent is...the 20th of January 8') ain't nothing lamer than out of season Christmas stuff.

At least it's two paycheques away for me then. This issue is...dangerous.

 

Did those scans not include the casual knit series or did you forget to include them? There are casual winter outfits for MSD/SD/SD16 and, hilariously, what is clearly a virgin killer sweater disguised as part of another outfit with a shirt underneath it. If those scans arent available I can take photos of mine.

 

EDIT: Elianti, the DD11 DDP is a lottery only doll at Dolpa. My mistake. But I hope this means DDP joins the regular D'Coord lineup soon too. Unless they're a new special thing like when the tan girls first came out and when DD11 was new, D'Coords are usually not lottery, just something you can walk in and buy if it's there.

I guess I'm alone here with being disappointed. Then again, I'm not so hot about super weird looking sets (like the blue designer one), I'm more for realistic looking ones, and I'm really tired of all the lolita, I'd prefer something else by now :V The egelant dresses are so pretty, but I'm not giving so much money for just a dress with a petticoat and some hairclips T_T;; I do see some shoes I'd really like to get though!

Thank you @Gunter, I was like @Ie-Aster, reading two pages full of hype without being able to access the album. It was killing me. Now I am disappointed, Ruri is not from Nadesico, it's just an Akihabara Girl...

 

I agree that Christmas outfits received after Christmas is super lame. Now, I never understood the point in buying outfits you could only use once a year (Halloween too) when said outfits are that pricey (and so many things to buy).

Awww so it is a Dolpa-limited lottery. I really wish DDH-11/DDP will be part of the regular D’Coord lineup(or available for purchase by itself... or even added to Dream Choice..) soon. It’s highly unlikely they’d be available by February when I can actually visit Doll Point, but I’d be totally super stoked if they were!

 

I’m also interested in seeing those casual knit clothes!

 

edit: looking at the snowlight rabbit pages again I realize I NEED that pink wig! Is it part of the outfit set, or sold separately? I’ve been looking for a pink wig in a style really close to that(for the girl I want as a DDH11, no less. lmao thanks Volks for using her as the model)..

DDH11 already is in the 'regular D'Coord lineup. It's the only way you can get that head. If you're going there in february its highly likely you can get one, just not likely that it'd be DDP. (Unless you meant that specific combination)

 

Anyway I dont know if all these pics are missing but these are the outfits that aren't in Gunter's post there, I might have missed some. Sorry for the glares, dont really have time atm.

SDM/MDD sets that come with a sweater, jeans and socks. It's super tempting...

I like a lot of the knit stuff but I kinda wish they werent in sets. I dont really care about the bottoms on most of them 8')

 

Anyway the good news is that none of this stuff is available online until January 20th so for people who want a lot (or any), you got time to save.

@ Torino: yep I meant that specific combination. I figure if I’m lucky enough to find DDH-11 D’Coords available at all I can put her on the right body eventually but it would be nice if I didn’t have to go through that. xD

I adore the starlight rabbit outfit, also the default Ruri outfit as both would be perfect for Unamed. Maybe the pink label red dress for her would also suit.

 

Tahquil though, I would love to get her the more mature Christmas dress.. the penguin suit however is almost mandatory.

I think I might just wait on her. It doesn't look like she's really popular and in some photos she looks less like how I thought she did the first time around? It's weird. I might change my mind with user photos but if I do go for her I'd gladly split her clothes, maybe the wig too.

On the model doll section for the Snowlight Rabbit set, it says Mohair wig in milky pink, right? Is this a new thing, has Volks ever sold mohair wigs before?

Ruri just kinda looks like DDH09 to me? I don't find her all that exciting. The most interesting part of her has been both versions of her outfit - this one mainly because it comes with an itabag, and the last one the whole controversy was more interesting than the outfit itself, but I find the doll herself pretty meh.

But that's in the eye of the beholder I guess.

Glad to know that I'll have plenty of time to save up for the lolita outfits. But I agree that it sucks for those wanting the X-mas outfits.

The virgin killer sweater--or rather the attempt to make it seem respectable--amuses me quite a bit, I have to say.

 

As for Ruri, she's pretty but not particularly distinctive, imo. I do still want her outfit, at least the dress/blouse/socks parts. (I like that they did the hoodie and itabag but they don't suit any of my girls.)

 

I love the new shoes that go with the hoodie outfits. Still a bit conflicted on the outfits themselves but I may well end up getting at least the MDD one.

Hang on, what are those eye things that are shown in one of the scans?

Not that I can read Japanese, but was that saying Sailor Moon will be an M bust? In the photos she looks more like a S bust though. And why are the nicest elegant dresses always L bust? Do they think all the bust is needed to rock an outfit? Little busts look great too all dressed up. Why are the jeans all in outfits and not separate? Christmas outfits look nice, might get them so I'll be ready for next year, but it's annoying that the hat is a separate sale, and comes with the sack, I don't need a sack, let alone more if I get more hats. I love lolita, but more goth not sweet, and they've only really done sweet. There is stuff I want, but my main focus will be trying to get my hands on Sailor Moon and her other outfit. Got to have my Serena (Yes, she's going to go by her original American dub name in this family.).

And why are the nicest elegant dresses always L bust?

 

They are usually sized for SD16, which is taller than DD, and the SD16 bust size is close to DD-L.
