Volks International restock speed?

A little bit of backstory: I’ve been saving up for a custom MDD for about two months now. When I first was browsing wigs and eyes for her, the ones that caught my eyes were sold out. Now that I finally have enough to afford her without being broke, the eyes and wig I want are still sold out, as well as the semi-white MDD body I want.

I shot them an email about the eyes and wig before I found out about the MDD body being out of stock— has anyone had any luck with them restocking after emailing them?

 

I’m just really antsy to get her, lol. What are you guys’ experiences with their restocking speed?

I had to wait months to get shins for a custom. Ended up ordering some parts from International, and some from Volks USA as they popped up on the website. If you can't get the full body then see if you can get the parts and assemble it. It's not complicated, and you don't need any tools except maybe a hairdryer.

 

You can also check Yahoo Japan Auctions for the other stuff. You can usually get results by using the Volks part number in a search.

Edit: Just a quick check of their site. It looks like all the MDD parts to make a full SWS body are in stock.

 

I don't have any MDD, so I don't know if this part is different from DDS or DDIII. The hardest part of assembly on DDS or DD is fitting the shins to the legs and the feet to the shin, and only because you have to fit the peg into the socket inside the vinyl where you can't see.

The real question is does it say "out of stock" or "will be restocked"? If it only says "out of stock" they may not be restocking. As for how long to restock, that really depends on how long it takes them to get some made, which can take a while. Being you're in Canada, have you looked at the USA store? I think you can order from there being in North America.
