What's with the Freckles?

Release date is the 27th of this month! So just over 2 weeks!

I'm SO excited for her release, but now I might have to hold off, because I'm hoping to pick up Sheryl Nome's rerelease. At least I can be pretty sure she'll be around for a little while.

Oh my, not usually one for freckles, but her face up is quite nice! I hope more Smartdolls will have options for these kind of more special/personal face ups. She looks great in Ruby's wig too.

Yeah, she's really adorable and the freckles make her faceup look a lot more detailed and dynamic than the others. I do hope Danny will add similar details to some new girls in the future

Meanwhile, I'll just add her to my whishlist

I wish he makes her in the Cortex line. For some reason I wouldn't feel very comfortable spending that much money on a full SmDoll, but I willl be very happy to get her from the cheaper line.

Has anyone here ended up getting her? I'm saving and waiting for the DD Sheryl Nome rerelease, but I can't wait to see owner photos of Infinity! I really like her, I just have to prioritize.

I'm curious too! I'm waiting for her Cortex version but I'd really like to see her in other clothes and wigs

Another person waiting excitedly (yet impatiently!) for owner photos here, so I can decide if I should buy her or not!

I wasn't planning on getting Infinity even though I think she looks so cool and unique but now I'm slowly debating on getting her (was planning to get Summer later on down the road when she's finally released). I'm going to wait on owner photos too haha

And I paid for her at least a month before she actually came out.

I'm pretty frustrated by it. And the ironic thing, the whole reason I did it this way was because I was afraid I would miss out on when she was offered (since Harmony and Melody sold out IN HOURS when they were finally released), and thought I would get her sooner this way.

Nothing against Fabric Friends and Dolls- I have heard only great things about her. I just wish I had known that I would basically just be pre-ordering the doll AFTER she became available to the general public.

So...live and learn, I guess.

 

Personally, I though people pre-ordered from FF&D not to get the doll sooner, but to simply make sure that they could get the dolls. Iris is the US certified SmD retailer, so I'm sure she gets some sort of preference when she orders, or she is very very good with ordering early. The only time you're going to get the doll in a timely manner is if you order directly through Culture Japan. Going through a retailer is like going through a 3rd party seller. Everyone on the FB group says that Iris is very helpful, so I'm sure you can email her and get a shipping quote.

Got an email from Iris- she said the orders have shipped and should be here soon- they have to clear customs first, so depending on how long that takes.

So YAY! Looks like Infinity will be coming home soon!

I have been really lazy with taking pictures lately but absolutely love my Infinity ♡ I was a bit concerned when she first turned up as without a wig her face-shape seems a little odd & angular but once her wig was on ♡♡♡ I love her!

I heard from Iris at Fabric Friends and Dolls and my Infinity should be home, hopefully Thursday.

I think I might like this version of her even more

I think she looks very nice in Tea, but I do not like the dark freckles. It was my impression that if you have more tanned skin, you don’t have the same type of freckles as more fair skin. I think milk looks great with the freckles...so cute! But the tea color would look better without them, imho.
