Yes, the Petzval effect really adds a sense of motion to the snow! I bought myself a mirrorless camera (Sony a7) as an early Christmas gift, and because it's full frame and not cropped like my old Canon DSLR, you can see the full extent of the beautiful swirling from the lens. It was -0.5C that day, and I could definitely feel the cold in my fingers after taking my gloves off for taking the pictures, but one of my coworkers walked to work in a skirt with sheer tights in colder weather and told me she was quite warm throughout her 35-minute walk, so perhaps Mei is like her and just isn't affected by the cold OMG she looks amazing! everything looks perfect~ Warm photos for winter Thank you so much! I'm very glad that everything looks perfect. I decided to take photos the morning after the snowfall partially because I wanted to capture the appearance of fresh snow before it all turned to slush and ice lumps As always, beautiful pictures.
