Nanase Yoshi "Nanashi" ♡ { 1bitheart }

So... here's a story... our group is doing a "cosplay" theme in a couple short months and everyone was trying to decide what we wanted to dress our dolls as for the occasion... A lot of really popular things cropped up, from Harry Potter to Your Lie in April and Attack on Titan... I, however, felt like I didn't want to do something just for the sake of recognisability or flashyness (are those even words...) so, I went the purely sentimental route and picked one of my favorite game protagonists of recent years... if not flat out "my number one fave".

 

Nanase Yoshi, otherwise known by his nickname "Nanashi", the main protagonist of the RPG 1bitheart, created by Miwashiba; a hikikomori with no self esteem trying to make friends and stop some terrorist attacks that threaten his town. Now I'm not about to spoil the game for those who haven't played it, so I'm going to stop here, but it's honestly a wonderful game with a positive message that I'd readily recommend to anybody. (especially with the addition of the epilogue after its release on Steam).

 

The good thing was that not only did I adore the character, but I also just happened to have the perfect doll to cosplay as Nanase-kun, that being Miharu, my DDH-10 custom MDD boy! And so this crazy journey sort of began and here we are now with me making this thread to show my progress and I'll be updating it as I go along!

 

So, here's some details!

 

{Character Reference Sheet}

Head: custom DDH-10 in SWS

Body: MDDv3 in SWS

Wig: Will most likely go the handmade route since we make wigs in the house~

Eyes: since Nanashi's eye design is very simple I opted for a somewhat more complex design in the right color

Clothes: Commissioned

BitPhone: handmade, v1 done, will definitely do at least one more try since I'm learning

Faceup: by Alina, I added a temporary little star shaped mole under his right eye myself

And here's how far we've come! x3; Miharu is looking a little funny in Nanashi's clothes since he's still wearing his own wig and eyes! And I still need to work on perfecting his BitPhone and work on his footwear...

Awwwww, Miharu is adoooorable in that!!! The DDH-10 head makes a super cute boy.
