Christmas Spoils, 2017 Edition

Okay everyone, post photos of your Christmas spoils! Here's mine to start with:

 

 

That's a new girl for me in the center of that all. Her name is Miyu. The couch was a find at a doll show, and the rest are various outfits I've collected in the last couple months. In there is a hand bag my wife made for the girls too.

 

My wife got some stuff too, a first for her, but I'm going to try to talk her into joining the forum and posting about it herself.

 

You got some lovely outfits! I like the one with the white cardigan and pink skirt.

 

Did your wife get a doll for Christmas, or was this her first time getting items for her dolls? I hope she will join the forums!

 

 

Wow, so many awesome things in there! Congrats on your new girl too, I like the name Miyu. And that couch is so cool looking! Neat design and shape to it.

 

I do hope you can convince your wife to join up here and share! It's always so much more fun when you can share a hobby with your significant other.

 

I didn't get anything for my girls this year due to low funds, a crazy personal life lately and also adopting so many girls this year so no pics from me this time around. Maybe next year!

I got an American Girl 67 (since I collect American Girls as well and was aiming to own all headmolds), A dollfie dream Mayu head and various other small Overwatch items.

 

The Mayu head is because I bought an 05 DD earlier in the month and discovered I don't like smaller eyes

 

I had to keep my spending light in case I want to buy Ruri or Sailor Moon when they are released on VolksUSA. (I honestly have not made up my mind who my next DD will be...)

 

Guess the wife isn't quite ready for the forums (Still working on it.) but I can't not post this. Here's our two newest girls getting to know each other and get used to the house.

 

 

I'll admit it took a lot of will power not to just in and unbox and dress her girl for her. But I resisted as I wanted it to be her thing. But I did help when she asked, and gave pointers when I saw she was struggling with something. That is quite the outfit she has, and a lot of parts that have to be put on just so.

 

Speaking of outfits, here is Keiko getting her new one from the Christmas spoils.

 

 

Not all those outfits I got at Christmas were for Miyu. Ever since Volks showed this outfit in Volks News, I knew it was the maid outfit for Keiko.

 

 

Don't you agree? Once I'm done being sick (Was in bed all New Years weekend long.) I'll have to do a photo shoot with her.

It’s not much, but I went ahead and bought myself a DDS body and DDH-06 for Christmas, and she just came a couple of days ago. Now begins the faceup progress... although I don’t really know what I’m doing. :,)

I received a DDS Karin head (my boyfriend bought it for me, he just didn't want to give it to me until Christmas) and some money so I could pay off the Smart Doll Eiji Kai I had on layaway for a while :3

I'm gonna redo the fantasy dye project with a more consistent body and head.

 

Also, I got a sewing machine!! Now I can be a dolly sweatshop!
