I hope that you can get Arle if they release her again. I see there is another post that's been made that wants Arle as well... I think I'll get some non-doll friends to help vote for her. It'd be nice if you, and everyone else that wants her, could have a chance to get her again.

 

A friend of mine just got me the last 2 dolls that I wanted, and I finally know how it feels to have my perfect doll family. I want to help other people achieve the same thing.

MDD Arle for me too

I'd like to see a semi-whiteskin Sasara. Since I don't think this will happen I'll just give my vote to my new grail - Saber Altria Pendragon.

 

As for the MDD I'll vote for Arle as well. I'd never buy her but she is pretty cute!

I'd like to see Rina or Nia get a rerelease, but Beatrice or Aoko would be great too.. anyways, I hope there'll be an online poll like last time!

I'd definitely vote for Rise. I was really hoping Volks would announce another persona girl (Makoto or Futaba since they're best girls XD) since persona 5 came out, but they didn't, so Rise would be a nice re-release. Also, they could totally do Rise's outfit from Dancing All Night.

Last time (2014), Volks ran six or so five-week-long polls, lasting from late February to early October. The SD/DD size dolls were in the first two polls. And then the winners - DDdy Sasara, DDS Melty, SDG Lieselotte, and SDG Charlotte - were re-released as new versions at Dolpa 32 in December 2014. So yep, six to eight months between poll close and doll re-release.

 

Oddly, the previous edition of this Best Selection was billed as being for the 15th Anniversary of Dollfie ("since 1999"), while this upcoming edition is billed as the 20th Anniversary poll despite being just 4 years later. Given that, it's possible that the actual dolls might come out in 2019, and 2018 is a prep year for a larger celebration than last time. [That's just speculation on my part; nothing official yet since we're still in 2017 today, although just barely.]

I seem to recall voting for multiple DDs in one vote last time. I think you could select 4 or 5, and could vote once per day for as long as the poll was open.

I thought it was odd too but it's cos it's the 20th anniversary of Dollfie altogether - the miniature ones I don't even think many people really cares about anymore first came out in 1998. That must be why they're saying 'Dollfie Anniversary' instead of 'Super Dollfie anniversary.' In the timeline for the anniversary celebrations, they do list the Super Dollfie 20 anniversary in 2019.

So although many people forget they even exist, we do owe it to the original, regular, non Super/Dream Dollfies for starting this whole thing. (Although, ironically, they're not getting anything special themselves for this as it seems like that whole line got discontinued after Azone cornered the 1/6 market?)

 

Thanks for the info about releases - I think next December Dolpa is a good bet cos it's Dolpa40, which seems special. I hope I can go to that one. (Unless they do plan to release them for the SD20th, but then why announce it now?)

Me too! She was released before my DD addiction, and while I adore my Titania version, the OCD part of me insists on getting the SAO version one day. Thus far I have been able to resist, mostly because of the inflated price tag.

 

Other rereleases I would like to see would be Yaya and girls from the Shining series.

The only girl I'd like to see a rerelease of would be Etheldreda, preferably in SWS.

But I know the chances of her winning are minuscule, so I don't get my hopes haha up orz

Thanks, I have seen listings of her nude or in fullset few times already, but I'd rather not get her first release. I'm wary of that floppy first generation MDD body and white skin isn't my favorite ^^'
