Where to buy wigs for Dollfie Dream - a guide

I've been meaning to write up a guide to buying wigs, and finally got some time over Christmas break. I hope it's useful to somebody!

 

Where to buy wigs for Dollfie Dream and Smart Doll

 

This is all based on my own shopping experience, so if you've got some recommendations or additional notes feel free to comment

I love this guide! I just got 2 new girls and I may need to get some wigs for them... Some of these stores I didn't know about! I also like how you gave details of the wig quality and whether or not it had light colored wig cap. I didn't know that Crobidoll wigs had that on darker colors, and I think that's really good information.

 

I do have a question/comment, though. My very first doll's wig was from Miruya and I was able to order from them directly by sending them an email. Do they not do this anymore? I see that you have them listed under the section where someone would need a proxy service, so I am curious if they no longer allow you to email them directly to place an order for USA customers.

Nice guide! Very useful. I'd also like to add that Air Castle on Taobao has great wigs for around $15, with light wig caps. I just received a wig of there's a few days ago and I love it!

I emailed Miruya a while ago and they never responded, but it's good to hear that they will ship to US! I'll update the blog post with that info

@jadepixel, this was several years ago - so I'm not sure if they still do this or not... But that was my personal experience with them whenever I got my first doll and her first wig. Sorry that they did not reply to your email though! I remember they were really polite, so maybe they didn't see it. I feel like they would have replied to you if they had... They were extremely kind, and apologetic about their English, haha.

There's a thread here on Miruya where another member got no response from them late last year, so something may have indeed changed.

That's too bad, it was so easy whenever I bought my wig directly from them.
