Questions About Tan DDs?

I'm not going to Japan any time soon, and I have a feeling I won't get a tan girl until many years down the road. However, that doesn't stop my curiosity XD!

 

I can't find a lot of information about them, so I was wondering if anyone knew more that would be willing to answer my questions ^^.

 

 

First: Do they make tan DDdy bodies?

 

Two: Do they make all the standard heads in tan or only certain ones?

 

Three: Are they able to be stain treated or do they have issues with discoloration from treatment like white skin does?

There are at least three people who have tan DDs here, including me!

 

1) They currently make tan DD, DDS, DDdy and MDD (so all girls except DDP)They also make all the breast sizes in tan, including the no-nipple option, as well as all the hand parts for DD (in both regular and large size) and MDD.

2) All the numbered heads are available in tan with the exception of DD11. However, you can't buy the heads on their own (or any body parts other than hands and busts, and the moveable wrist joints are coming soon too). Currently there's no one-piece torso which I'm waiting for.

3) I cant answer the question on stain treatment as I haven't tried it yet. I might try it on the bottom of Bri's foot or on her headcap or something as it's something I've wondered about too.

Torino has everything else covered, so I'm popping in to say: Check Mandarake and Yahoo Japan Auctions! Tan girls do pop up on there every now and then. Mandarake had a few pop up last year (and I missed every single one of them). I finally succeeded with Yahoo Japan Auctions. More will likely pop up for sale once it's available at DreamChoice again.

 

If you want a specific tan girl, then it may be a bit more tricky. Good luck! c:

Raji HAS made tan DDdy Peach Pai in the past. There are plenty of photos of the bust on Kanu around on Flickr. Raji is odd with his production schedule tho since making and selling those busts is not his primary means of income. So sometimes he'll go years before making any non NS color silicone busts. I know he's made WS ones in the past too but I'm not sure if he has done any SWS ones yet.

 

If you know how to get in touch with him and you can win one of his order lotteries then maybe you can have him make you one. Or we can talk to Drew at DollDelights.com and see if Wersaze can/will make them. Drew is a dealer for those and he makes orders about 4-5 times a year for busts so you never know. Maybe drop him a line and see if Wersaze can do tan skin busts.

I saw he posted a picture on Twitter recently where he was making prototypes for a tan skin version. He was still trying to get the color just right. I never thought to try Wersaze though, I may give that a shot.

I put in an order for a tan M+ bust for my recently acquired tan DCH-14 about two weeks ago, the order form had choices for two different tan colors, Kanu tan and Doll Point tan. Will make a separate post once I receive it with comparison photos etc.

If they changed it to coincide with DreamChoice they must have only done that after DreamChoice started then, cos the original ones came out in autumn and I got Bri in March.

(Unless the staff misunderstood your question and thought you were asking about DreamChoice? But if not I guess the d'coords change colours with the seasons from now on too...)

Last October Volks Dollpoint Akihabara had a number of tan D'coords for sale. I'm pretty sure it's not just a summer thing. I believe I saw some tan ones in February of this year too. Both of those times are outside of the Dream Choice tan offering period.

I was there in January and they were very strict in saying they were just a summer release, and that they had none available until mid april ^^ probably the ones you saw last october were summer "leftovers"..?

Pretty sure the tam D'coords are not limited to Summer, as I saw pictures of some back in Feb, and they have sws D'coords in the summer too, which are winter exclusive in Dream Choice.

Like I said before I'm pretty sure they assumed you were talking about Dream Choice because there were definitely tan D'Coords in both Akihabara and Yokohama in February. (because I almost caved on a tan DDH10 MDD...)(plus I got Bri in March) D'Coords arent seasonal like Dream Choice is, the only reason they limit Dream Choice is because they can keep less tan parts in stock that way. They also dont 'do' leftovers (especially not from 5 months ago...) - they change the lineup every month (and often more frequently than that), it changed completely in the span of a few days during Golden Week, although they probably sold a lot then.
